For a little perspective, my Axe spreadsheet says Axe/Axe would outdamage Bravura at the moment if we had Dual Wield 3 and negated Attack, which we will presumably get next update. The revolution is coming, I wouldn't spend a ton of time making situational GAs right now.

On which note, how do the sTP and WS DMG axes hold up? I'm really quite fed up of day/weather trials already and I'm only doing two (h2h and dagger); I don't reallllllly want to be doing more if the difference isn't massive.

Still having troubles running this through windower on 64bit Windows 7, but it's getting weird. I keep getting stuck after clicking play in POL to get to ffxi; POL just crashes. Earlier I was able to get to the blue accept/deny FFXI screen where I got the same error. Just now I was able to get all the way into FFXI and move/talk, I logged out to load macros and promptly crashed. wtf does this mean

Kukuklcan and Briareus are easy and lowmannable if you kite them. Kite the gigas around the pond, and the peiste in the trees.

Same way as always? Only real difference is less running, and more utsu.

WAR/NIN benefits most from DA+9, not OAT. DA+9 Main hand, off-hand STR/ATK, DEX/Acc, or STP as the situation calls for.

You can play around with the spreadsheet. I don't know Abyssea monster's VITs really, I was guessing 80 but I can't tell.

I think most would say "Get Usu", but I don't have any so I can't say that. :D

TP would probably look like this: http://www.ffxiah.com/item-sets/179069 <-25% haste with kote, 27% with aurore gloves.

WS would depend on the WS, but Asuran Fists would be something like: http://www.ffxiah.com/item-sets/179071 <- Might be off on earrings/rings. Better feet might be available, too.

I'd consider those a soft baseline. I didn't include any AF3, though, 'cause I'm tired and lazy. :D

I always just straight tanked Ovni. More nuking, less wasted time. Same goes for Briareus, kind of, he requires more MP upkeep but you also need to keep in mind that if you run around pond a lot of time is lost trying to get in range to nuke. 3 RDM, BLM, BRD is overkill for him(Briareus). Add a WHM for sacrifice if you have no self-confidence.

Pair Heavenly Strike with Thunderstorm for variety. All the same strength, and while Wind Blade is the staple, a wind blade + heavenly strike combo leaves you useless against anything ice based. Personally a fan of Wind Blade + Thunderstorm, but I suppose atma of the beyond and morana's pigaches give a bit of incentive to use Shiva.

What's the best GK nowadays? Just coming back after about a year and I've heard there are finally non-relic options that beat Hagun.

Kokushitsunotachi with a 5hit setup that doesn't drop haste is the best nonrelic(IE: Usu body+feet). If you don't have usukane, keitonotachi+1 5hit is probably your best bet. Both beat Hagun.
