Not qualified to answer the first (my guess would be Unkai to help with X-hit), but Abyssites are permanent despite being listed in the temporary key items.

More of a tech question, but didn't want to make another thread there for something that's probably stupid shit.

Anyway, net keeps losing its connectivity every ~10 minutes, sometimes less. I'm still connected to the router, as in I can access the router utilities during its bout of unruliness, but no access outside of that. Its been getting worse, today its like every 5 minutes. I've reset the router 10 times, cycled the power with the modem, just keeps on doing it.

Should I call up verizon and bitch or is there something else I can try that I'm missing?

Your router is probably dying. Try plugging directly into your modem during a bad spell and see if you can get on the Internet.

connect directly to your modem if you have one and see if that helps if you dont, replace the router should fix it.

Is there a spot on these ffxi forums for people looking for a linkshell? I see one for linkshells looking for a history on applications, but nothing really in reverse unless I'm completely blind.

Friends either quit or are going to 14, I don't want to. My current ls I love, but we just don't see eye to eye on so many things, and I just think it's best I moved on.

Did the attowah and miseraux ones last night and hate was completely normal. A couple people mistakenly thought hate was weird because they would get hit when they didn't have hate, but a little bit of spamming a "/assist <bt>" macro made it clear there was no weird hate issues happening. Locations for skillup at 85, *outside* abyssea? Don't want to burn the time or gimp up xp parties when trying to recap non-main weapons like MNK-Staff/Club DNC-Sword.

Lv 88-89 Orichalcumshells added in Mt Z. are good for skillups if you can survive the beating. To reach them, go to the lower G.Colibri camp > Halvung > Mt. Z at C-9
I would recommend WoE crabs, but the nq mobs are lower than 85

Ah, this would work. I was thinking Sigil/Signet zones for those bonuses, but not much is 85+.

Every now and then I browse these threads people talk about the ELemental grips (Thunder Grip, etc). Are they really useless in comparison to other new grips? Or is it still situational? (Can I finally have my inventory space back!?!?)

Also does anyone else have some weird problem with the Ducal Guard Ring? (Yes I still have mine, finally using it up cause I found it in storage XD ) I tried using it the other day through the menu and it glitched my game... I couldn't select anything but I could type stuff. Maybe it was just me? Had to restart completely to get everything working properly again.

They were never worth the inventory space.

Out of the three NM's that drop Tantra leg seals, Athamas, Avalerion, and Minax Bugard, which over all would be the easiest(and fastest) to do? Are any of them soloable? Can they be duo'd/trio'd?

Athamas and Avalerion are both easy. RDM/WHM (or BRD/WHM I'm sure) and MNK/NIN can duo both. Mage needs to keep buffs up on Avalerion 'cause Feather Tickle is a hate reset on the target. Erase fast after draw-in on Athamas.

Fight both away from adds obviously, to avoid things getting nasty.

Yes, though it doesn't stack with sleepga (except for the one targeted mob).
