Universe's combat system was bad, though.

Zero was a step forward, but it still wasn't what it should be.

PSO's isn't even bad. It's aged, and what makes it that way is the horrid camera, no lock-on system, and animations that lock you in certain positions for WAAAAAY longer than the attack takes.

All of those things are fixed by technology upgrades.

Yeah, wish they had a 2d-video feed for the stream. Regardless, it's crazy seeing these high-end PS3 games having 3D added in, Sony looks to be pushing that harder than PS Move.
