If you need em, DVD drives.

Aside from that, it looks good. Quite the beast it will turn out to be.

    Thanks, knew I forgot something.
Updated first post, found some blu-ray drive that burns dvds and cds? Does that thing seem worthwhile?

Considering it's a 1366 chipset you might want to look in to Triple Channel memory set's instead of the dual channel. Also if you plan to overclock in the future you'll need a better CPU heat sink which would most likely interfere with those large heat sinks and fan.

As as side-grade the Corsair Power Supplies have been proven to be very good, there's a 950w unit for ~$50 less than the Antec you've posted.

Thanks Ridri, I'm not too sure what you mean about the triple channel memory though. The RAM i selected isn't triple channel?
Says its quad channel, so i'm assuming that you're saying it'd run as 2 and 2, if im not mistaken. Hmm...

You need a triple channel memory kit, the memory needs to be installed in a group of 3. If you look under details that memory is for dual channel system.

I was going to suggest you get a cpu heatsink as well. You are buying thermal paste after all.
There are a few cheap ones you could get if you aren't overclocking. But I would get a decent/high quality one with the amount of $ being spent already and temp's sake.
Also Newegg is having a $15 off promotion on Samsung 1TB HD ending Sept. 6.
Double storage of the HD you have and better performance for $5 more.

Great find on the harddrive, thanks. Looking in to ram now.

Also, you could save $10 by getting your case and OS in a combo.
Here is a link to RAM sets you can chose from.
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...e=&srchInDesc=

Edit: I couldn't find anything on EVGA's site for RAM compatibilities. But this Corsair 3x2gb set is a top of the line imo. They are $154.99 and also have a $15 off promo until Sept 6. And they have a $20 mail in rebate( I am not sure how that will work with the promo, and lots of reviews complain about Corsair and their MIRs).
Nonetheless $140 for that set of ram is a good price.

Alright, changed case to a full tower (combo'd with OS), found a heatsink for the CPU, got the bigger harddrive mentioned, changed the RAM to triple channel

Curious about the heatsink though, think that one would cause a problem?

Are you overclocking any? That one seems fine to me, it shouldn't interfere with the fins on your RAM.

Seems like a waste to buy this comp without overclocking at least a little. Any suggestions for the heatsink would be nice.

Prolimatech Megahalems is the top air cooler imo, Noctua NH-d14 is Just as good but bigger. Megahalems is $62, but you would have to pay $20 more for 2 fans. It is also smaller than the NH-D14 so your RAM should fit by using the further 3 slots(grey) on your MB if necessary. Zalman CNPS10x extreme(has a blue LED) is also in the ranks of the megahalems and NH-d14. Zalman CNPS9900 (there is copper one with a blue LED and a black one with green LED) offer good performance but not of the likes of the previous three mentioned.

Thanks for the suggestions. I like the Zalman the most, looks sweet and a fan with it already should be the easiest for me to set up. Thanks for all of the suggestions and help

Also thinking about adding in this monitor:

    Seems pretty sweet.

I think I'm going to buy a Corsair H70 to cool my overclock, as my air one just isn't cutting it. Might want to check out reviews on that one.
