Go chargers >.>
Brady NSF abused what may be the best CB tandem in the league and completely shut down the cinci offense up until they took their foot off the pedal.
Wow, lol. Scorcheded.
Sanchez, from 20INTs in season one to scoring 20 total points in season two.
On a chiefs related note, I fiund out today that my lab professor used to fuck Scott pioli back in college. She still talks to him. I told her to grt me an Eric berry jersey and I'd forever be her star pupil.
Sanchez was totally hot doggin it.
You can dump the "casual" son. Miami has been a run first/Pass second team since 2008 (Brown and Williams combo backfield). They got away from it last year because Brown got hurt mid season. It was the only reason Henne was allowed to throw. Coupled with the fact they only have one proven receiver (who Henne tried feeding the ball to all day) and you can't tell me that it was Buffalo's defensive prowess that held Miami to 15.
Checked the play-by-play. Henne overthrew his receivers more times than there were passes defended. He actually underthrew them more than there were passes defended.
Serious question. Do you actually watch football?
I'm sure he plays a lot of Madden though.
First, what the fuck does this have to do with henne? He completed over 60% of his passes yesterday with no picks and a few drops. That was against, iirc, the third best team against the pass last season. I'm not saying henna is the next Marino, but he's a capable starter.
Last year, the fins started to really open up the offense not because Ronnie was hurt...Ricky and Hilliard played fine...the defense didn't. The fins started 2 rookie corners and gibril Wilson at safety. It was a really bad secondary that amounted to the worst 4th quarter defense the NFL. They had to ball to get back and stay into games.
Also...bellichick is a great defensive coach, some people forget that with that offense. If you honestly think that the defense is going to bad, you're a fucking idiot.
Easy Tyche. You gotta' give him time to look up stats.
How can you say they should win without concern? Did you even watch the game? The defense gave them incredible starting field position the entire game, and the offense could barely get a 1st down, let alone score a TD. I get it, the Ravens have a tough D. But you would think if the Jets had any sort of chance they would have managed to put together at least 1 or 2 drives that looked ok. The Ravens managed to put together a few solid drives against "the number one defense", the Jets didn't look ... even serviceable on ANY possession. They didn't even get but maybe 1 3rd down conversion on offense without a penalty until the 4th quarter. I hate the pats, but Brady is back, welker looks like hes recovered well, and they SHOULD scare you. World class defense can get you to the playoffs, but not if the offense can't even manage a first down. I don't think too much should be made of any team in week 1, but the Jets made a statement tonight. And that statement is that their offense looks like my anus.
Oooh, I just might get to see Rivers cry tonight.
The thing that would worry me about the Jets offense is Sanchez's complete lack of ability to see more than 5 yards down field. Checkdown, checkdown, checkdown....Five of his ten completions went to the backfield. Two more went to the tight end...
