I don't see how people hate on him so much, only playoff loss that was his fault was the botched snap he shouldn't of been a part of anyways. Every other year his receivers or O-line failed him when it mattered.

I can see how people hate the Cowboys and Jerry but how can you hate on an undrafted guy that's finally getting his due? He can't be called elite until he has a Ring but his stats are on par with anyone else and was pretty fantastic last year until the Vikings game where he was running for his life every play. He's got his core around him for another 5-6 years so we will see how it turns out.

Cowboys definitely need to scrap everyone on the O-line but Free and Kosier though, Cowboys are fucked this year if anyone goes down once Colombo and Kosier get back week 2.

To be relevant, I like Eli but I don't consider him elite, even with the ring. If Romo had a ring at this point in his career I wouldn't consider him elite yet either. Peyton, Brady, and Brees are the only 3 with the combination of Rings and amazing stats/consistency throughout the years to be considered elite. Favre (except last year, but that won't happen again), Rapist, Eli, Romo, Rivers, Schaub I'd put in the second tier.

Let's clarify this up. Is Eli overrated? I honestly don't think so. most people will put him as a good quarterback, top 10 in the league. He has shown up in big games and has delivered some strikes when the team needed, and when the running game has suffered, he has put the team on his back and carried them to victory (hi2u superbowl).

Is Tony romo overrated? yes. You go anywhere in the northern/western sections of Texas, and they swear the boy is the second coming of christ and billy ray cyrus, rolled into silver and blue.

Miz can testify to the fact that i have shit all over eli when he has had shitty games. but give credit where credit is due. He defeated Tom Brady in the superbowl. he's made a show of shitting on YOUR cowboys for a large portion of his career (2-0 last year, anybody?) The man is good at his position.

But EVERYONE, minus the homers, shit on romo. When he produces a solid year with a deep playoff/SB appearance, we'll stop shitting so much. When he stops spending his off time fucking stupid blondes rather than getting better at his craft, i'll stop shitting on him so often.
