It's not so much picking the giants to win the division, as picking everyone else to lose it. That said, if Vick takes over as starter and plays like he did sunday, philly can make a run at it for sure

Tonight Mark Sanchez will cry. <3
Seriously, I can't fuckin believe anyone who is picking Bengals for AFC North, are you retarded?
sounds like mayad.
Eh, I give Eli a pass on the picks. He looked sharp, the INTs were all on good passes that got deflected by his receivers. I don't worry about him, and clearly he has a lot of weapons in the passing game.
The problem is, unless Coughlin changes the playbook, the Giants are built as a power running team. And half their runs yesterday were for negative yardage against a Carolina team without Peppers. That, and again their defense leaves a lot to be desired. Moore had his way with them on 3rd and long, that was a huge problem all last season too.
My money is (argh) on the Cowboys just because I think their defense is way better, especially their pass rush. Their offense looked pretty out-of-sync yesterday, but I think everyone agrees they're better than that.
Can't believe anyone picked the Colts to win the AFC South, DID YOU SEE THEM YESTERDAY HOLY SHIT.
Steelers won yesterday, OMG DIXON SHOULD BE THE NEW STARTER.
Just because Vick had a good game and Kolb didn't doesn't mean there's a QB controversy. If Kolb comes back and plays like Clutch for another 3-4 games...then there might be a starter struggle.
Well think about this; the Packers came in expecting your typical drop-back passer in Kolb, only to not see him in the second half and instead see Vick, who's the total opposite.
I can pretty much guarantee he won't surprise people if he's the starter and teams actually plan for him, lol. I"m just excited to see Phily rage. You trade McNabb, the veteran away so you can let Kolb play.. he sucks shit in the first half AND gets a concussion, while McNabb goes on to beat the Cowboys. Gg.
Reason I think there's controversy is because the media's all over it. It's all about 'what have you done lately' and as of right now, Kolb has a terrible half of football under his belt while Vick has a half of good football. Phily fans, like any diehard, hardcore fans will overreact, and I'm sure there's a ton of the fans calling for Vick to start. Just my opinion.
I think the point remains in what you first said though, is that we all know how Vick will play, and regardless of whether or not he's good, if he were started there are plenty of coaches around who know how to handle him. Despite an unimpressive showing, Kolb could surprise people both with ability and play tactics. I'm not saying he will, it's just a good reason for them to keep him in.
It's hard not to cheer for Vick in my opinion even if he has outside issues. Good at what he does.
philly fans were jumping on kolbs nuts as soon as mcnabb was let go when the guy has done nothing and really shown nothing. I'll never understand how this dude was rated so high by every analyst before he even had a chance. Fuck Kolb, start vick.
When was the last time you've known a Philly fan to be patient and reasonable? It's all conjecture and complaining for now, and those of us who aren't as impulsive with our football team are already sick of it. Of course, Kolb may not play this week, which will only ignite more people to bitch and moan about switching starters when Vick puts up 40 on the friggin' Lions.
The most popular people in town are always the backup quarterback and the backup goalie. Always.
In a situation like last night's, at least, I thought so. If I had wanted the Packers to win or legitimately not cared it would've probably been different.

Kolb looked like a fucking deer in headlights yesterday.
