There is absolutely no controversy at all, just to the idiots in the national media and Akiyama. You don't trade your franchise QB of 11 years to move into the future without believing in him, only to dump him after 30 minutes of play time. Again, this teams success all depends on their O-line, which lost their Center for the season, their LT for a series, and got no help from the TE/RBs.

The Eagles defense was killing GB, and then they lose their stud MLB to a concussion. That opened up the middle so much and that's when they started having success.

Lol. Thanks for clumping me up in the national media area even though I know a ton of people see a controversy? It was already controversial that they traded a veteran QB who did a lot with nothing in Phily for a guy who had two career starts, one of which against the CHIEFS. Yeah.. I guess they had to have a lot of confidence in the guy.

Now before you go on comparing Aaron Rodgers to Kevin Kolb.. remember Rodgers was actually touted to be a really good QB. I'll say when Kolb was drafted, I was like "...who?" because I watch a shit ton of football, from all conferences when I can, and I'd never heard of Kevin Kolb. Pretty sure he played for Houston, but lol. Oh well. The Eagles franchise is a smart one! I'm sure they won't have a problem at all. I'm not saying Kolb won't be the starter when he gets back, I'm just saying that he'll get to see what it's really like to be a starter and not a fill-in for the real deal in McNabb.

Basically, my point to all this is that it's Phily's fault for having confidence in a guy who played two professional games. Cassel had all those superb passing games, yet you didn't see the Pats resign him and ditch Brady did you? No.

And the Eagles D played well, but that offense with Kolb was putrid. Desean Jackson, wru? Wonder if he missed McNabb.
