Wow that really angers me... that's fucking horrible to do to someone.. ruin their entire life for most part.

Doesn't matter if they were pretty or not, this done to anyone would put a severe hurt on their life. Who cares if its news worthy or not, just something to read and think wow people suck.
Man, ugly people sure are a nuissance.
Little Betty was a chemist. Little Betty is no more, 'cause what she thought was H2O was H2SO4.
Almost this exact thing was the plot to an episode of Reaper.
Also, this would suck, just getting some coffee, then *ACID*.
Shouldn't have been pretty in a warzone.
Spoiler: show
She wasnt really attractive anyway.
Stupidest reply in this thread attempting to equate people willingly joining the armed forces knowing they could end up dead to some girl walking down the street to get a coffee. Just because people aren't angry over the thousands of deaths that happen weekly in the world does not mean that they should not be allowed to be angry over random injustices that happen in places they assume to be safe beyond the acceptable dangers of driving/drinking/gang violence.
Woman doesn't look too bad to me, sucks what happened to her though.
Uh...yes it does?
When people are willfully ignorant of shit and the media only covers extra-sensationalized stories it makes you a fucking twat when you get outraged. Ignorance of the facts of life is not an excuse to play dumb. Worse shit happens every day in places you "assume to be safe" or rather, the people who lived there "assumed to be safe" that don't make the news and are sometimes far more tragic.
I consider a parent, or a loving husband, or anyone with family or friends being killed in a random traffic accidents / home invasion / lightning / salmonella poisoning far more tragic than what happened to this girl. If you don't then your opinion is completely null and void, although it has been for a while now since you make notoriously horrible posts 110% of the time.
Why am I replying? Well, fuck, my specialty is taking 'tard bait and frankly, you're one of my most frequent fishers.
Edit: I want to make this abundantly clear: I care 1,000,000x more about my wife mildly stubbing her toe than I do about this bitch getting acid thrown in her face. Outrage over this is ridiculous. Sure it sucks, but she gets to wake up tomorrow and her parents don't have to wake up tomorrow without a daughter.
Shit gets way worse than she will ever have it for people equally less deserving of it as she is every. fucking. day. in every. fucking. city.
Get some fucking perspective.
Some guy getting struck by a drunk driver and dying, and then his wife having to explain to the kids why daddy will never come home again is infinitely more sad than this ever will be. That shit usually never makes it past 4 minutes on the local news too.
You can buy Muriatic Acid (which is industrial strength hydrochloric acid) without any sort of permit or ID at most pool chemical shops.
I've bought several gallons of it in the past for pool repair. I spilled a couple of drops of it on my forearm once, and I had to go to the hospital. Burned through the hair and about 1.5cm of my skin before I poured milk (milk dilutes acid better than water) over my arm. This took about, in total, maybe 45 or 50 seconds.
Shit is scary.
I dunno comparing someone dying instantly in a bomb (or close to instant) to someone feeling their skin melt off their face in a boiling crusting mass and living to feel the after math. Hmmm, I think I'd rather die.
Edit:
Military deaths: expected.
Random horrible painful acts of violence or catastrophe: unexpected newsworthy.
nah its really not.
How high is the douche level of someone who feels he needs to defend his mean-spirited jokes? Weak of someone to get offended, but so much worse to try and justify it. "Sorry, this tragedy isn't sad enough. People die everyday!" Is that a conversation you really want to take part in?
.
Maybe she wanted kids? Can you imagine growing up with a parent without a face? Sure, worse shit happens, but that's just life. You can't feel bad for everyone because there's just too much to feel bad for. However, I do respect your opinion and the fact that you've become so numb to fucked up shit like this, so much to the point that you disregard it as irrelevant and choose to only look at the OTHER bad things that inevitably happen on a daily basis. However, considering this is the first random http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acid_attack in the United States I believe it is news worthy. I will say my perspective isn't the greatest though since I don't really watch the news... it's just depressing. I guess the fact that something like this could happen in the US just shocks me, kinda like that thing in Canada a few years ago where a guy randomly cut off someones head on a bus >.>
