^ As an addon to this, it looks like once you complete that, all of the "second skills" are unlocked for any class you switch to from there on. I started out with lancer, and when I switched to conj. after doing a few opening quests, I had it standard.

I've tried the "Bees" in grid Leve quest three times now, each time I start it the game crashes.

I havnt been able to play yet because im a PS3 user, but from what im readin ~everywhere~ is that the graphics are great, but the controls and interface just drive people crazy. Now these may be the same people who tried XI for 5 minutes and went "this is the worst MMO ever! I dont want to lose xp when i die!" So im taking it with a grain of salt, but everyone is really hating on this game right now.

Most people on here seem to think the game is coming together well.. Is it true about the control, interface, lack of mobs... overall incomplete game? I guess all MMOs need work upon release, but how much should be resolved prior to release?

No, they're given to you after completing the first couple parts of the tutorial quest. iirc, the person in the adventurer's guild gives it to you after they make you go to the lv.1 aetheryte.

Has anyone been able to tell yet if STR and/or DEX has any effect on Spirit Dark? Also, Stoneskin is pretty sweet for soloing

What are glads putting there stat points into? balance between STR VIT DEX MND? or mix of 2 or pumping it into just one?

whoever wrote that is a fucking moron. less than 30% of that is true, the other 70% is either misleading/stretching the truth/flat out wrong or is spreading the "You can only lvl for 8hrs before you get 0EXP" fud which has already been proven false and that it's exp based not time based.

Something strange happened and its kinda weird. Mid-fight, I was fighting a rabbit and log said that something broke. I thought this was a bug until i saw the icon above my screen 20 mins later. Now whats weird is none of my armor is showing as broke nor are they low in Wear...Has anybody else experienced this?

There is a lot of truth to what he is saying. Certainly all those things, without the internet-worthy exaggeration, make us nerdrage hardcore. It has had that affect on me as well. If nothing else in the article is true, what shines through is that the game is not very polished and their lack of avenues to provide feedback are cripplingly lacking.

Guild pearls (invites) can only be given out in person and are a physical item. It takes roughly 20 minutes to get from one stating city to another (I think two of them are connected by a boat, I don't know.)

There are so many statements this idiot made that roughly translate into "I didn't really play this game and have no idea what I'm talking about, so disregard all of this."

You can't jump, swim, or walk down ledges which create a drop. You also have issues walking over curbs and the whole game is plagued with invisible walls.

Yeah, sure. A lot of those complaints are valid reasons to 'rage', and hell.. I don't like the direction XIV is going, but some of that shit he completely made up.

Gridania can eat a bag of dicks. Mining leves should not be this difficult. Mobs aggro everywhere and the tight corridors don't help. Also they don't give up on chasing either. Fuck Gridania. Is there a sneak item I can get?

I have to admit invisible walls when your 1 foot off the ground in a ramp is pretty annoying.
