A) Jumping helps eliminate stupidity such as not being able to ascend up a .56-inch incline in the terrain.
B) Dragoons Jump. If I'm playing a FF title, I want to be able to jump.

I'm stuck on the installer update at 94.6. I know its been said a million times to use utorrent, however I can not unless I want my internet terminated since my school doesn't allow p2p. Are there any other ways to get this update finished other then waiting it out?

If the devs don't want you going up a ledge, all adding jumping will do is make them raise the ledges higher.

Also, watching retards hop up in down in place is fucking obnoxious.

I've been getting that since alpha. It is annoying as hell.

Also, I'm getting little episodes of that when I rank up on any job too. When the graphic flashes up over my character it stutters the game.

If you have the folder where the torrents/patches go open, close it. Otherwise, try changing the port FF14 uses from the beta config thing.

Ionno.... use a laptop/netbook/any kind of computer that will run it and go to any wifi spot and download it onto a usb stick or something.

On a side note.... when the game hits retail are we gonna be able to torrent updates like this? It works way better than sitting on POL for 9 hours.

Any way to obtain fire crystals other than through the Alchemy synth?

All of the lower Blacksmith synths need bronze nuggets, yettt i can't make any due to not having any fire crystals.

I've never seen devs make ledges higher to account for jumping on basic, general terrain in a game. I'm not talking about in some dungeon or castle where there's a treasure chest up on the ledge. I'm talking about regular world exploration.

Think I found a bug. I skipped the Ul'dah opening cutscenes and no goobbue appeared.
I skipped them because I don't want to view them with artefacts all over my screen.
Or maybe it didn't appear because the servers went down. I logged out and can't get back in.
