Anyone else find the character creation emote/voices when you select things.. completely unbearable? Particularly the Miqo'te one.

All I can say is that I die so much more in OB than in P3 when doing either regular monster killing or leves.
wow, finally made it out of Gridania for a look round... my fps jumped from a stable 35-40 to constant 60
Well I finally hit 6 Con / 8 physical this morning during a quick leve and I noticed something interesting.
After I leveled, I decided to try out a opo-opo nearby for kicks (and a free port lol). While I was beating soundly (not much though, I was taking 120 with my armor), I noticed a huge increase in skill point gain. On the 1/4 of its HP I managed to do, I was earning at least 200 conjury points. Now that got me thinking. If two lvl 8s got together and fought a monkey like that and used their abilities repeatedly, could they skill up much faster than solo?
I am starting to see that higher level mobs = more points (if this is already established, then duh on me). This would explain why people have been getting such slow returns on skilling up on blue-conned mobs.
The duh is on you.
And I'm downloading the latest patch by torrent at 7bytes per second. Bring on the seeds!
Why do ya people want to use higher level weapons?
The more hits it takes to kill the mob, the better. rank 1 weapon ftw.
I found a Gil fountain glitch: copper buckle, made from 1 nugget and 2 square. 10k investement got me 40k gil after I sold all the buckles...
[320Gil for Mats from NPC ==> 1800 Gil sell back price].
edit: lolol double post
I'm pretty sure higher damage gives higher average skill gains. I could be wrong, though. In any case, higher level weapons, at least in P2, had less durability than R1 ones and cost a lot, so you couldn't just keep buying new ones like you do with R1 weapons. Of course repairing is completely out of the question, too, as you have no mats or crafting skill and you have to unequip the weapon to request repairs on it. This durability thing blows.
Can you do that without any prior smithing skill? I'm not interested in crafting but I am interested in free gil.
the recipe is level zero armorer or somthing ( never failed), mats sold by the NPCs in Uldah ( doesdornn, allenaure). your limited by earth and fire shards you have, but every fucking mob drop those it seems.
Heh, game is really unstable for me today D; Either crashes or R0's (during a fight, so I die with my HP on the other side of the world!)
R 0 seems to be getting more frequent for me...
There's a New Worlds message on eu site, but of course they forgot to include the new worlds on the list so dunno what they are.
Edit: Scrap that, I'm blind. They added Selbina.
Seem to notice ffxiv crashes when i try to set a new macro (anytime)
submitted too.
