After choosing to cast any spell that has an AOE option, you are required to confirm the spell, this is when you can hit the Z key to toggle between AOE/Single Target before confirming and beginning the spell cast.

I just had a horrible flash back to early FFXI-NA with hundreds of n00bs running circles around mobs because it makes them miss, and parties in the dunes rushing the gobs bomb arm because it "totally makes him drop it, but if it doesn't you just didn't do it right"

Copper Wire --> Bronze Rings is apparently a popular synth for BS. Since they made the Hempen Yarn --> cloth recipe difficult I would guess buying the Hempen Cloth from the vendor and making a zillion worthless fents would be a good method of leveling up for now.

There is so much negative feedback going around about this game. I can predict 6 months down the road XIV having less subs then XI (at 80 cap increase), and XI having less subs as a result of XIV. There is just so little I'd consider rdy outside graphics

Has anyone tried to do a "I marked your map quest"? And if so do you still have to select quest manually through the menu and then open the map to see the mark?
