Hmm? Guild Marks are randomly rewarded from Lv20+ leves. Just need to do this one leve then I'll have Multi Shot... again! XD

fun facts, dunno if it has been said before: There is a maximum timer on any fight, meaning if you stop attacking and just use shield and cure, the battle music will stop after 5 minutes or so. The mob will still attack you tho. Also, skill and experience is tied into the percentage of the remaining health of the mob. When the battle music stops the mobs name will switch from red to yellow again, and the marmot I killed had 1% HP when it went back to yellow. Giving me a grand total of 1 exp and 2 skill points. Felt damn good for 5 minutes of work lol.
Does anyone else find the mouse to be a lot better after this last patch? I haven't bothered with Cliff's hardware mouse patch yet but in-game it felt almost like a HW mouse, there was just a very slight lag to it.
Actually that thing only shows if they are close enough for you to promote etc. it was never if they are offline. That thing was confusing before and we though so because there were no other indicators in the LS list. But there's is a online/offline thingy now: it's the green/gray icon that resembles POL icon in a way.
The Scavenger ones from Camp Drybones gave me a bit of trouble, mostly because they tend to all agro and ranged attack you at the same time for 100+ damage. Other than that, they were far easier than the leves in Gridania.
Devs/GMs are trolling right now.. I can imagine them sitting somewhere watching people do these leves:
A: rofl dude they're about to go through the tunnel to fight the Funguars.
B: hahahaha go my wolves! KILL THEM.
A: This was such a great idea. Who came up with this plan?! hahah
B: Some dude in accounting.
If you were solo Lv10 DoW on that leve... You would not be able to get past the wolves without a healer lol.
If I'd thought about it, I would have gone and tried the Ul'dah leves earlier when I was testing that stupid claim someone made on the EU "Guildleve Feedback" forum about being able to do 24 leves, 8 in each city. I was in Limsa doing some fishing, though, so I started there since I knew the fights were all easy enough and I wouldn't get ass-raped as a 9THM.
Actually, it probably IS a good idea I did those. Hit THM10 finally. Punishing Barbs is still uber, and I think Damnation got a bit of a buff as well!
Man if there is one thing to take away from any of this so far is to never participate in beta tests for a game you are looking forward to. That and SE can't communicate for shit lol.
Anyway I'm glad my PC's a pos and could barely handle the benchmark otherwise I tool would be way too bitter and frustrated to enjoy the game upon release. Anyway I'll see you guys when the games out...six months after PC release lol.
lol no kidding. I don't think Gridania could be made of more fail. The town itself is so boring and flat. I was expecting a crazy mix of the shire and the ewoks village but its just more dark green bleh. Whether or not they fix the mob positioning after the beta doesn't matter much to me, eventually I will want to explore and its just not possible with the stupid cramped maze layout. That and way too many bad memories of emerald moss leves.... oh the horror.
lol I think a lot of people are feeling that way. I was fapping to all the little tidbits they were throwing to us last year, and creamed my panties when I got into closed beta. Now I know I would have been so much happier fapping to other peoples screens and avoiding any talk about the game. Oh beta... why couldn't you have been made of win like you were supposed to? ; ;
Y'all are a buncha' Negative Nancies. I'm getting my money's worth.
walking to giradiaifnsdj w/e it's called walking to the black shroud entrance , anything I should be look and be wary of?
I think the only thing to worry about along the paths of any of those zones are Antlions and those Flytrap plants.
Now someone will be fast and say: "IT'S A BETA! IT IS SUPPOSED TO SUCK!" but then.... 13 days to launch and the game is still totally horrible on so many fronts. Sure, I will play it religiously because my brain simply cannot handle any more WoW and I only have good happy memories from FFXI.
I do not think that Open Beta was a good idea from SE. Many ppl I have talked to in game, both English and Japanese, Veterans of FFXI and N00bs, have a very negative view of the game now after playing it. The amount of subscribers in the month of November will be very interesting to see statistics of.
That is why sept 22nd is going to be the most epic day this forum has seen in at least 2-3 years. "It's just BETA people who all have the CE's paid for" are setting themselves up for an epic nerd rage of disappointment while the people who know better are going to take this game for what its worth, a rushed game just like every other MMO launch that has ever existed and one that cannot be fairly judged until 8 months down the line.
The game at launch will be much better than open beta, I think everyone expects that but it will be obvious there was a lot of stuff that will get left out of retail until a later date. If there was one thing SE taught me during FFXI was this: Don't ever get your hopes up and always expect the bare minimum that way you don't get too pissed off when the fail comes.
