It might just be that I'm a retard and can't figure it out but what's the deal with Battle Regimen randomly activating when I don't intend to? I'm positive I did NOT press G.
Died several times because of that, since I couldn't cure myself.

Also, anyone figure out how to use it effectively in a party so far? I occasionally pull it off (and the result is just synced attacks that seem to have no benefits) but most of the time it just fails and recharges.

Make sure the person with the earliest queued attack is the one to initiate, and they need to press the battle regimen button twice in succession. Since only certain combos will result in a debuff, it's just trial and error (or look up a list online). Skill order is important as well

It's pretty simple and straightforward once you get the hang of it. Works best if you plan ahead what skills/order you'll be doing so you know who needs to set it off at the end.

Something cool just happened when doing lvl10 Leves in La Noscea, the levemob fled and led me to a cavern with guess what mobs? That's right, WOLVES. Thought that shit'd be Gridania only, but now here too. Mind blowing. D:

And why does it always have to be the goddamn wolves.. I think we've, okay at least I've, found the most hated mob family for the game.

Edit: Okay LOL they were someone's levemobs, should probably check things out before I start ripping myself a new asshole and writing emo posts in here, but after all I've been trough with the fucking wolves this should be nothin but understandable.

When that happened to my group the wolves were part of the leve and really easy to kill, I was on THM and 2 AoE spells later all 3 wolves were dead....

yeah the part about not showing up in chatlog we knew already and thats the reason we compare amount of skill points pre and after fight always.

anyway, than we happen to have bad luck about our bug becauswe we always have the problem that at least 1 person is not getting skills after fight even though skill ups were show while fighting....

edit: what was the setup, what was the party members class level and where did you level and what did you fight?

I do know there is a bug where you don't get any exp at all. When changing from Glad to Pug, I got a bug where I would get 0 exp and skill from mobs, even if they conned as red to me. The only way for me to fix it was to relog. I've also experienced battles where no one got any exp at all, but never randomly one or two people not getting it. Although there is that occasional bad fight where you barely get any skill at all, but that's just bad luck at play.

Yeah there were wolves involved in my leve as well and they went down fast, but when I first approached that cave and saw a wolf at the entrace, I immediately got the same feeling I get when doing certain leves of Gridania, that being "NO FUCKING WAY".

so how exactly will SE fix the input-lag for release? as it stands today Europeans and Americans can be forced to wait 0.3-5 entire seconds before a skill they pressed is activated. this will mean a wipe in parties when tank doesn't taunt/provoke for 5 seconds or healer can't get off a heal. it is not uncommon for R0 at all.

is there really a point in buying a MMO that only has servers on the other side of the planet? but then again, FFXI was "almost" fine to play... tho the responsiveness of FFXI is sooo much better than FFXIV as it stands today. (I recently went back to relive the memories, was quite nice in comparison to the horrors of the new iteration)

I havent experienced the lag you are discussing outz. Everytime my wife and I get on to do guildleves and crafts we are doing so with zero lag.
So maybe SE doesnt have to fix anything? I am sure they have plans for whatever is causing your problems.

"Bonus" skill can eat a bag of dicks. I don't want to level another class, I like miner.

EDIT: I hit bonus skill in 2 days of playing. Granted the leves reset that one day so that went against me. But I'd still get that amount in 4 days. A week seems too long for it to reset.

Doing the right leve quests, gathering classes level ridiculously fast. You can get 2+ ranks per leve. I still got over 1.5 ranks last night from one leve at rank 10. I'd say they should tone them down to be more in line with war/magic/hand, since they are being treated as full class in XIV, but I don't mind being able to pump it quickly on the side either

How much physical exp is required to hit surplus? I got lvl 18 the previous week and am yet to actually get hit with surpluss on physical exp. I was under the impression you get it at like 14.
