If anyone needs hundreds of shards on Wutai, just let me know - I don't use mine for anything, and I'm always grinding on something.

Well I'm 14PUG/18Phys and I got over like 1,2k marks atm I think.
Whatever stupid people are willing to pay for them. The system in place means that people can get away with ridiculous stuff due to misunderstandings, like buying a bunch of wind shards for 500 gil, or selling a few shards for thousands.
To me, shards are worth 50-100 gil only, considering you get like 9 for every monster you kill, they aren't exactly rare. The only issue is finding the right type, in Ul'dah, wind shards can be overpriced, as can lightning, but in Limsa, wind shards are easy to find.
Also, got surplus on my Thaum last night, 3/4s of the way into 16. But physical level 22 and still no sign of it.
Haha, the gamefaqs forums are already teeming with "casters are casuals cuz they get access to gear" threads. I agree with the assessment that its retarded (even in a beta) to only churn out cloth gear as rewards, but throwing out the casual crap already?
Them casuals are the devil!
Lucavi, we're doing 8 Lv30 leves tonight. :D
I read everything at work, including gamefaqs. You really think those mouthbreathers are going to be the only ones to spout that nonsense, though? I agree that the current system sucks (alpha's was much better, giving a combination of weapons and armor), but I wouldn't start branding classes and people casuals over this, though I don't label anyone a casual for anything, because its not a dirty word.
Question: Im an avid fisher.. WTF do i do with these feesh?!
are there any low level recipes i can do or is there even a market for them? i'd hate to NPC them if there is a use.
Has anyone here seen a THM weapon higher than level 1 yet?
-ONE- Taru had a level 11 bronze decorated scepter for 80k in his bazaar yesterday afternoon. I was low on cash so I couldnt buy it, but I should have borrowed some from a friend, because I haven't found once since.
Oh well, I'll just have to make due with my LEVEL 22 CONJ WILLOW ROD~!! Gyagyagyagyagyaaa~
Just about all non lvl 1 weapons are crafted.

Didn't notice whether or not this had been said, but at 0:59, is that Ishgard?![]()
I took up goldsmithing to make my own weapons, but it's kind of absurd, you need training that costs 5000 marks to have a decent shot at successfully making the level 11 weapon, by the time I've gotten what I need to make I'll have outgrown it by a lot.
Thanks, that's really useful actually.
Two thirds of the way into Physical level 23 and I hit surplus.
