also, can someone explain what exactly is the difference between software mouse and hardware mouse, just knowing that hardware is better doesnt tell me whats makes them different and why software is worse.

"Software" mouse is hindered by your in-game FPS. "Hardware" is not.

The difference is the same as trying to move your cursor around on your desktop normally, then moving it over to the game and watching how retardedly lagged/slow it becomes.

A level 26 Canvas Robe on my level 12 character is WORSE than the Weathered _____ armor I started with. The system is pretty fair. You can't pimp out a level 1 and be invincible.

But really. Having mouse support for any PC game is obligatory, it doesn't mean you have to use it or should use it at all. While there are certainly some shortcuts on keyboard, there are a lot of critical ones missing, but I don't see how using the mouse would get you to what you would need any faster than the keyboard. Actually i'm positive that it would be slower. Even if it was a hardware mouse.

Scrolling through inventory to grab mats to synth. Even with laggy mouse, it was still faster than holding down, using mousewheel or grab sidebar and dragging down.

And since some classes (mainly mar and lancer) don't have access to anything through leves, and a very limited selection of crafted gear ATM, they should run around in starter gear only. I feel bad when I see some lancer running around in leve gear, wondering why he's getting 3-shotted.

Yeah... They why have the system? Just turn that shit to back how it was in Alpha. How it should be.

I'm confused, I play lancer and wear a dalmatica as it gives me +dex, in beta 3 i wore chainmail because it gave me +STR. Am I missing something?

Agreed, one of the staples of any mmo is getting to that lv to wear "X" piece of gear. no longer

It was a bad design choice for many other reasons imo. not to mention the scaling is god awful. Shit, even in XI when you lv a lowbie.. its a great feeling to finally get 33 and be able to wear PCC

Yea only had gloves to test atm on my char, but going from canvas half gloves to cotton half gloves at 15 conj gave me 1 more defense/evasion. Not much, but it's still a difference. Sucks I'm wearing all canvas lol. I'm glad it's this way though, otherwise all this other gear would be obsolete.

If the Retainer system isn't going to change much soon, I need people to realize that it would be 9000 times easier for potential customers to teleport to all 20 wards looking for shit, than to trying to dig through all 500 bazaars in one room when only 15 people show up on screen at a time, not knowing who they've even looked at yet.

Also, I would like the current ward I am in to still be on the list, just greyed out, so I can remember which goddamn wards I've visited!

This system makes my brain almost explode. They won't implement something by release. I can see people who actually level crafts and make gear have their own spot that they afk and bazaar at to sell their stuff. Probably either at the gates to a city or at the adventurers guild.

This game looks so much better when the clear weather is on. Most of the time I'd been wandering around Mor Dhona there had been clouds and low visibility or dark weather, but clear weather makes the area look a lot better. I'm sure there's an option to turn weather off but I like a variety.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I tried shopping for some weapons from retainers and found nothing. 90% of people just sell shards or the like and I kept looking at the same people's bazaar by accident. This in combination with not even having a hotkey like Ctr+C makes this really slow.

Am I doing it wrong? Because otherwise I don't know what fucktard thought this would be a swell idea, this shit is horrible.
