Disappointing.
I peeked at the Windower forums and it appears they won't be able to hotfix the plugin on the new keyboards unless one of the plugin developers can get their hands on a keyboard to test with. Otherwise they are shooting blind.
There's a work around to get it working -- program your G-keys to type a console alias, and then link those aliases with your macros.

stupid question but how would i go around doing that -_- never messed with programming these things before.
And if I could get my hands on the plugin stuff, I could give updating it a try, don't think it would be too hard, but idk what the chances of that would be. Gonna try to find aikar online sometime

You alias the keys in the G15 profiler (or whatever it is now) to //m1g1, //m1g2, etc.
This way when you press them they will start typing in the game "//m1g1" in the chat bar. Windower will intercept it as a command and execute. From there, it's the same as with the binder -- if you've aliased m1g1, m1g2, etc. Windower will just run the corresponding script (be it a command, the execution of a .txt, or what not) for that alias.
The binder plugin was just a shortcut where the button press of m1g1 immediately told Windower the command "m1g1". The workaround is to make your G-key software automatically type out a command in the chatlog and send it, so that Windower intercepts it and read it as a command.
EDIT: Make sure your software is picking up a command to enter //m1g1 after typing out m1g1. Basically you need the profiler to associate m1g1 with "/" "/" "m" "1" "g" "1" "*enter key*" so that it opens up the chatbar, types //m1g1, and presses enter.
The one problem with this that immediately comes to mind is that you will have to have FFXI in focus. The nice thing about the binder was you could alt tab and still send commands since Windower picked up the presses of G-keys even when FFXI wasn't in focus. Was nice for playing while looking at stuff on a second monitor...

Needing to have it in focus makes it 100% useless
