    Exercise Earbuds

Any suggestions? Looking for a pair of earbuds (preferably, or headphones) that I could wear while playing basketball. Much thanks.

Unless you've got really tiny ear canals, the any of the 'marshmallow on stem' headphones should work fine. Unless you're going to pay more than $50 for a pair, they are all pretty much identical - so much so that one factory may produce the exact same speaker/driver that is installed in dozens of different makes of low-cost headphones.

Otherwise you could try the type that have a little ear clip attached to the bud; those might stand up to the running and jumping during basketball. Given that you're exercising I wouldn't spend much money on headphones for that purpose. If they get smashed or the cables are torn then you're not out a lot of money.

Even if you're paying over $50, they'll still sound identical. The laws of physics prevent earbuds from sounding good. You should choose a purchase entirely on comfort/durability.

You're not gonna get the New York Philharmonic in your head with earbuds but I wouldn't go so far as to say they all sound bad or that they even sound the same...there's a pretty noticeable quality difference between something you buy at wal-mart and even a pair of apple buds. The apple ones still aren't very good, but they're an improvement.

And I'm hoping you're not including in-canal IEM designs in this lump assessment either >_>

To OP I use a set of these for running.

You can actually buy some at walmart that sound a heck of a lot better than the ibuds.

I guess it isn't fair though since the marshmallows are in-ear.

the FX33s are better than the 34s if you're so inclined
