Reasons why XIV is absolutely terrible

I had to stop playing the one character I made because they rolled the server back after it crashed one day and when I logged in, I was dead, with a full bar of hp and I couldn't teleport or return. When I went to call a gm from the help desk, it wasn't an option so I had to make a new guy. If that had been retail, I woulda been pissed since it never got fixed.

Just going to strike out what was fixed from Beta to Retail

1. Performance
   
   1. Frame rate, obviously
   2. Unable to move if the game is waiting to perform an animation on you
   3. Sometimes after switching to active mode you will be unable to move until death or teleporting
   4. Sometimes during combat you will be unable to perform any action while the mob will continue wailing on you
   5. Game LOVES to randomly crash for seemingly no goddamn reason. Each person has different things that will cause the game to crash consistently, for some ALT+TABing, for others anytime they enter a guildleve target area I havent had a single crash yet so I'll strike this for now. I dont believe for a second it's fixed though.
2. Lag & Input Lag
   
   1. Takes forever to NPCs to load including friendlies and enemies (sup walking past 3 Lone Wolves and dying before they even load on screen)
3. Updater, no further explanation needed
4. Surplus, no further explanation neededI've heard reports that surplus is still gay, but massively less gay than we originally understood it to be so I'll strike this for now.
5. Logout/Crash during guildleve = fail guildleve
6. Low level solo guildleves are far too difficult to complete under certain circumstances (such as putting the target mobs to kill past many high level sound aggro mobs in a narrow alley)
7. I love it and I have a proven track record of only loving terrible things
8. You still have to apply for an open beta, they cant handle server traffic etc etc
9. Kuya has an unspectacular ass (In game, IRL ass is still spectacular)
10. No F8 still
11. Mob difficulty checking being COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY WRONGAs far as I've been able to see this has been fixed. All mobs now have a difficulty and the difficulty is accurate. Red can mean VT or Impossible to Gauge like quest mobs back in XI.
12. Apparently the crafting was designed by Xzibit, idfk I havent done crafting
13. No F1-6 yet, not enough of the target commands we're used to from XI such as <stpc>, <lastst>, etc
14. Frequent teleportation will deplete your anima effectively leaving you stranded or unable to travel the vast distances that the game has in any efficient amount of time
15. There are mobs that will poison you for 120hp/tick when you only have 900hp and there are no fucking antidotes in this goddamn gameThey nerfed the poison I was talking about pretty hard. Havent had any poison higher than 30damage/tick off these mobs and the poison lasts a short amount of time. There should still be antidotes though.
16. What the fuck? Fuck that. Level 26 seriously? They cant be fucking serious. Poisona is a basic spell, as basic as cure. If Conjurer is to be our healing class that is fucking ridiculous.

Its a cleaner OB, essentially. No real new content that any of us will see for a few weeks, but you can at least succeed in doing the things you failed at doing in the beta tests. I've only crashed once since I started playing 3 days ago.

The only UI lag I ever get is shopkeeps, and occasionally when I'm synthing in a crowded camp.

Also I've never encountered #6, except for a random peiste, which seems to be either trained or a lotto spawn from something. and this game is terrible and i enjoy it, just like ffxi so anyone looking for a good game should not play it
