The merge itself was expected, considering how many people didn't reactivate after the monthly fees were introduced, but the way they're going around it is just plain awful.

I haven't played in forever, but try to keep up with shit now and then to see if it's ready to be worth trying again. People keep mentioning the 2.0 thing but I don't remember when that was supposed to be and I'm too lazy to look it up.
