Walk of Echoes

- The time limit for battlefields will be extended, and monster behavior adjusted.
- The method of performance evaluation will be revised.
- The conditions for receiving the right to cast lots on victory spoils will be alleviated.

Inside the Belly

Abyssea
http://www.playonline.com/pcd/topics...24/5824_12.jpgAbyssean monsters will yield greater amounts of cruor, a phenomenon theorized by scientists as a potential side effect of the perpetually crimson sky. Adventurers will also be given the option to place items obtained from pyxides into the pool of lot spoils.

The new NPC "Horst" will be posted in Port Jeuno. Adventurers may request Horst to instantaneously teleport them to any Cavernous Maw leading to an Abyssea area they have previously visited.

*"Vision of Abyssea" and "Scars of Abyssea" require the "Rise of the Zilart" and "Wings of the Goddess" expansions to be installed and registered.
*The game data for "Scars of Abyssea" will be distributed via the FINAL FANTASY XI version update scheduled for Thursday, September 8, 2010.

Besides the above, many more additions and refinements are in the works. All the juicy details can be perused upon the release of the September version update!

I'm pretty sure they said something similar in the past I could be wrong but I think it's due to the time zone.

Also Horst is probably the greatest news ever coming out of this update.

1.magian search function is pure win. I always have problems auto translating [magian trial log] for some reason, half the time it doesn show up


2. intriguing that mobs will drop more cruor, guessing new purchasable gear will cost a shit ton and we wont be seeing so many key whores for a while


3. the walk of echoes update seems much needed >,< i'm guessing more randoms will show up to ninja lot, but who cares if we open up the new confluxes! Now that we have longer, we can kill all mobs instead of just bosses in every conflux. We should therefore see more xp and coins ! :D Currently our mages get 1k or under if we just do bosses and cant lot. If we kill all mobs they get 2k or over but theres always a risk of timing out and you cant really afford to wipe. I wonder how much easier WoE will be at 85 oO

4. Horst is my kinda guy :D Whenever I had been doing NMs and ran out of time, I'd get 3 stones, use them, get another, use 1, and go back to jeuno to get 1 more so i'd have 120m+3stone for an xp session. Horst will cut down my travelling somewhat.

this I find find very useful, as well as Horst, perhaps more job adjustments to come that we haven't been told about? :s I also pray for another abyssite of celerity, cut that shit down for 16 to 12 please!

WoE part II is woe in easy mode with 5 more levels. Look at AV.

This. I've never seen an update where everything is made clear through just previews, in fact, most usually include some awesome details that weren't revealed before.
