They did mention with the Q&A that it would also do "other things" but they didn't want to give anything away.. so it's possible, I wouldn't be surprised if it also reset all your JA/Spell timers.

It says right on the site it's wendsday the 8th. Thursday was a mistranslation and has since been fixed. Update is in ~30 mins.
