Lookin for Bestbuy employee for question

So last week I bought this Panasonic 50'' plasma, and now I started browsing online at bestbuy and it says they got a special goin on right now if you buy the same freakin TV that I bought you get a free bluray player with it. Can I return the tv and get it again to get bluray player? Kinda pissed since I would think the person that worked there would know they were having a sale the week before.

I thought they had a 30 day protection on sales. It should have all the details on your receipt. I'm not sure how it works with getting free items but i do remember buying a TV, it went on sale 15 days later for 100 dollars off, i took my receipt in when i seen it, they gave me the difference.

Edit: Also not sure if that works with online sales FYI. If that same sale is going on at the store is one thing, online sales are different i'm sure.

Yeah i'm goin later today I'm pretty sure its in store too. If they don't give it to me I'll just start goin somewhere else (ultimate electronics probably). I spend enough money there to get RZ silver membership every year

Yeah, you should be able to get the bluray player. A similar thing happened to me after I bought my iPod, they had a deal with a charger, silicone cases, and an iTunes card the next week and they gave it all to me when I took my receipt in.

yes they will give it to you, you can get any deal within 30 days(i work at best buy)

well shit I'm having trouble finding my receipt my wife might have thrown it out..... anyway to go in there and have them pull it up? I know the date/time/exact amount of purchase..... damnit to hell.

If you paid with a credit card/debit card or used a reward zone its very easy to look up. I doubt you paid cash for such a purchase but if you did it can be looked up if you know the register, time, and amount paid. If they wont tell them you used to work at a best buy and ask for them to look it up in electronic journal.

It's been said, but if you are an RZ member you can print your receipt online. If not, you can go to the best buy and ask them to pull the sales journal using the exact date, time, and sku of your purchase. Retail stores keep current records for as long as a year. IF they can't find it, you didn't buy it there.
