Ok, got an update here. Package still gone. I talked to Ibasso about it. They're willing to replace it for $50 + shipping = $72 + a free year warranty, which is really going to break my fuckin bank, as I have 90 to my name at the moment, but I can't really pass it up, as it usually sells for $219 + shipping = $231.
I've been occasionally cheating on my ramen diet because I had a little money buffer, but after this, I will no longer make any exceptions, regardless of the circumstance.
I love Cream Soda topics.
Better start stealing shit man.
Prolly steal from my neighbor, that bitch owes me money anyway.
l2fedex maybe?
USPS "delievered" my package today.... except it was to someone else's house. Shit's getting pretty annoying. Fedex dropped my xbox 360 off at someones else's house a year or so ago. Amazon had to send out a replacement. USPS is the only ones that have not delivered it to the wrong house, however they often don't even try to deliver the package and make me drive all the way to the UPS warehouse and get it myself. Pretty sad considering the $10+ UPS charges for most of their delivery options.
I don't get how people are ok with just opening someone else's boxes. I'm not defending USPS being shitty and doin' it wrong, but people are pretty shitty too.
Isn't that shit against the law? Or is more personal items that deal with bills and the govt?
Turns out my ps3 was supposed to be delivered today, says "delivery attempted" from USPS. No note at the door, and I was downstairs waiting for it. I think I really have a lazy as hell. I will be at work tomorrow so I'll probably miss their next attempt. So annoying. (1 delivered package that was not delivered, and 1 attempt.... wonder if they attempted a delivery at the wrong house too?)
When I had my 360 returned from repairs, the UPS guy wound up dropping it off at a house across the street, only sharing the first 2 numbers in my address. I'd seen it'd been delivered in status, but of course it wasn't there. Gotta love google, as I wound up calling the last UPS distribution center on the list and got a confused due wondering how I got their number. Nonetheless, they queried the driver, found out what address he dropped it off at, and offered to come back in a few hours to pick it up and bring it back to me. Told 'em fuck it, I'll walk across the street.
In retrospect, I should've said it wasn't there and tried to score a free xbox out of it.![]()
I can do one better: twice in my life, at different residences, I have had shit stolen right off my front porch. That, or the postman lied about delivering it.
Thankfully in both cases the merchant was more than happy to ship me a replacement. Expedited, even. I made sure they said signature required the second time lol.
