Seems odd... Even with settings cranked way way down my GPU (GTX 470) sits @ a 99% load the entire time in the game.
Anyone else have this happening? Every other game I have runs perfectly fine and rarely do I see 99% usage.

Welcome to an un-optimized XIV. Its the same for basically everyone... 90% of the area's / views in the game push ppl's GPU's to stress test level's. I play plenty of games that push my 480 to 99%, but most games are at 99% and only using about 70-80% fan speed. XI pushes fan speed to 90%+

Do you have AO turned on? That's what causes it usually...

He said it was even w/ his settings cranked down, so I assumed no AO and DoF
