    Building my own website.

Well long story short, I have some amazing ideas on creating my own site. I don't really know much about website lingo, my html extent is

. I am very computer literate, so I am not a complete dummy when it comps to learning new things computer related.

So question: Anyone have good books/websites to recommend that would take a no nothing, and make him able to create a decent website? Thanks in advance.

    - P.S. If it's cheaper to just pay someone to do it for me, then I might even go down that root.

Microsoft Frontpage is the easiest thing to learn and use. It's basically a glorified MS Word, and should be easy to find some YT videos on how to use it. If you cant manage with that, then it might be best to just draw your idea and hire a college kid to do it for cheap.

I agree Frontpage (Now Microsoft Expression Web) is very easy to use (and to get ahold of) I found Adobe Dreamweaver to be pretty confusing to me. There are a lot of free web hosting services out there, just google "best free hosting" etc. Some have ads, some don't just look around. I have not touched raw HTML in quite some time due to the normalization of WYSIWYGs, so you can definitely get by with limited HTML knowledge nowadays. Good luck.
