    in the FFXIV Config program

    What is the best buffer setting to set it at? I want everything at max to see how my system performs. Currently it's at resolution

    ok... I'll try that, also, what would cause the game to run super smooth, no lag, yet typing is slow.. input is terrible..... not like typing on this forum but as if I was on a PS2

    The whole UI is laggy as hell. This is some terrible code that SE needs to fix, not necessarily a problem with your system.

    Set your buffer to "Resolution". "Double" is not really going to change your image a whole lot considering the game supports multi-sampling/anti-aliasing this time around. Setting the buffer to double (super-sampling) causes the game to render at twice your resolution, so if your screen is set to 1280x720, it's being rendered at 2560x1440 and then reduced to 1280x720 and the hit becomes increasingly noticeable as you move up in resolution whereas NVIDIA and ATI have spent massive amounts of time optimizing their AA techniques.
