ABYSSEA!
ABYSSEA!
alternatively, they could just add a goddamned auction house
This stuff sure is Advanced.
No give up the SE dev team will never add what the players want in FFXIV. If you want an auction house, go play FFXI.
...oops, shit.
Why would they completely scrap their concept to insert an Auction House if they can adjust what they got to ultimately function in the same manner? Stop playing stupid to support your fetish for ad hominem.
I said it retardedly, but yes, after the old ff11 dev team moved to ff14 and got replaced, ff11 started getting better.
I don't think the specific development team matters when whoever is working on it needs to make XI's content as appealing as possible before it dies out with easily implemented but long content. 1 new gear model for each job, recycled animations, 1 new model for each weapon. Now go grind away to 99~
So it's okay if we have an auction house, but we just have to call it something else.
An Auction Market!
If it betrays the 'concept' to have an Auction house then what is going to motivate them to half-ass an auction house-like system in response to player complaints that market wards are fucking bad and need to be radically changed? How is 9/10ths of a functional auction house any less of a deviation from their grand design, AND how is it an acceptable substitute to an AH system that has worked everywhere else in MMO-space?
Your nomenclature isn't very FFXIV-like. We shall call them Das Kermis tŷ
Ur talking about mioko, a more retarded XIV poster then Hyan
Oh oh!
A Market House!
Huh? People bitched about shit like not being able to buy keys more than 1 at a time, stacks of 12 being too small, relics losing their WS when synced to 75, and a bunch more. And the FFXI team came out and fixed all this, plus more. Really, I have no idea how you can say it has nothing to do with the specific team, seeing as the timeline coincides directly, and FFXI has been "dying out" for over a year now. A game -should- always have appealing content, and the developers should generally attempt to keep their playerbase happy. That's just good for business and to have a good product. Also, I'm assuming you've quit FFXI, but leveling is nowhere near a grind anymore (~15-20minutes per level average for good players).
