Unlike the Crisis Core International news, which may be fake (glad I
put that disclaimer at the top of the article!), Jump does indeed
have a first proper look at Tifa this week.

The magazine reveals that Tifa's "another form" outfit will be her
Advent Children clothing. Her standard outfit is, of course, her
classic FFVII mini skirt.

Remember how Tifa didn't seem to know who Sephiroth was in the
Tokyo Game Show trailer? It seems that she also doesn't know
Cloud.

First, Vaan’s English voice actor said he reprised his role as the Final
Fantasy XII lead and recorded new work for Square Enix. Now,
Vaan’s Japanese voice actor, Kouhei Takeda, is saying the same
thing. Takeda wrote about it on his blog, but pulled the quote about
Vaan.

Not fast enough though, because game blog Teiten Kansoku copied
and pasted Takeda’s original post. The missing line reads, "Hey,
Square Enix-san. Is that work with Vaan going to appear? I’m
waiting (lol)"

Widespread speculation is Vaan will appear as a character in Dissidia
012[duodecim]: Final Fantasy. The PSP game is slated for spring in
Japan and a 2011 release in North America.

In EX mode, Tifa equips the Premium Heart, her ultimate weapon
from Final Fantasy VII. Her EX burst attack is a slot machine limit
break. Tifa can also don her Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children outfit
if you select her "another" costume.

seems kinda odd dont u think? that even English VA is done for Vaan, if its slated to be fore Dissidia 012? I'd be under the impression english VA work doesnt usually start until the Japanese one is close to release or already released..

and we sure as hell aren't expecting a simultaneous stateside retail

I also heard that the VA for Kuja admitted he was doing new voices shortly before the game was confirmed. So who knows what's going on.

I'm still crossing my fingers for Gilgamesh though. He'd make the perfect addition to the game.

Maybe they are just getting their act together and getting voice work outta the way so localization can happen quicker. I don't see why they wouldn't do this.

Just had a watch at the latest trailer, it felt odd to see Lightning in the game's state, was too used to the PS3 detail XD

The alt outfight looks awesome though... very stylish.

I kind of want Sora from Kingdom Hearts as a character too =/. I doubt it can be done though if Disney owns the rights and they want some sort of cut.

Tifa definitely had a boob reduction ever since :AC. SE needs to learn that huge rockets sales games.

I think that's for Japan, I'm guessing NA won't be until Fall of 2011.

VII's in-game renderings of her could probably be attributed to crappy polygons making her look "big" up top. Most official art I recall of her from back then was usually a frontal view, too. So it's a bit tricky to compare with those in mind. I lean toward her looking smaller, but I also know I'm a fan of bigger, so it'll always be too small until just right.
