They should get rid of Vaan and add Ashe or Balthier or Fran >.> Nobody likes Vaan and he wasn't even party of the story really. He wasn't even the main character you just got to play as him.

Vaan does have a connection to Gabranth (he killed his brother) but it's a really weak one compared to Ashe/Vayne (Vayne is directly responsible for murdering her entire family, taking her kingdom away and ruining her life) and Basch/Gabranth (no need to explain this one).
Too bad Gabranth stole Basch's quickenings in the first game.

Edit: forgot to add Balthier/Cid. FFXII had pretty amazing protagonist/antagonist relationships.

Vaan did have some of the best quickenings in the game, but I dunno if that's enough to get him in Dissidia. Hopefully they'll do something more with him.

I don't really care how he looks, just don't make him an outsider looking into the story again. But seeing how Dissidia liked to reset what little progress the chars made in their own game, I wouldn't count on Vaan being useful.

Considering characters can have extra costumes in this one, I think its safe to say that FFXII-2 Vaan will be his 3rd costume, if he has one

Penelo had an ass in XII and just got plain hot with her sprite in FFT:A2. Fran had the whole Max Payne face going on, and Ashe was cool, but I was so burned out of the Tifa/Rinoa/Dagger/Yuna female protagonist thing by then that I just immediately wrote her off and focused on Dat Ass.

SE was gonna take Vaan out the game because of this, but since he's super fucking popular in Japan, they decided to leave him in and get another VA.
