Dissidia Duodecim: Final Fantasy

Duodecim?... As in... "12" ? I'm not liking that name. It kind of implies that there will be 12 heroes and 12 villains. ie, 1 more for each than we already had in the first game. I'm guessing its just some Latin SE decided to put in the title to sound cool though. No way they'd be retarded enough to only give two more characters, and reveal them on the first day.

Really no clue what else Duodecim could mean though. Its not the 12th game in the series, its obviously covering more than 12 games (since Lightning is in it).

Also does it happen to say if Kain is on the Hero or Villain side? I'm guessing Villain, or if he's a hero they'll dramatically exaggerate how often he gets mind controlled (like how they exaggerated how... obsessed, Sephiroth was with Cloud)

Predictions! Yuna will be in it, but as a dumb Gunner from X-2 instead of a Summoner. Reno will be another VII villain, for comic relief, instead of someone like Hojo. Basch could be the hero from XII, to go with his brother.

Looks pretty interesting, I hope they add Prishe as the XI hero since I wanted her over Shantotto since Dissidia lacked a monk.

Also something from the FF Wiki:

Tetsuya Nomura has stated that there are no immediate plans for a sequel to Dissidia, although it was discussed. However, depending on fan requests and the success of the first game, this may change in the future. According to an interview between Takashi Arakawa and Yoshinori Kitase (director, writer, and producer) with a German gaming site, Kitase stated that a sequel would be "very interesting", and might even include Kingdom Hearts characters, although it would still have to be discussed with Disney. Nomura has said that a potential sequel would include Kain Highwind, Gilgamesh, and Sazh Katzroy representing Final Fantasy XIII, but would not include Kingdom Hearts characters.

I really can't wait to see Gilgamesh, pretty sure his EX mode will be his "true form"

I play it on and off. My main is Squall (Level 100), I might try to get some more characters leveled, Warrior of Light and Garland are pretty fun.

Squall was epic for catching people in a corner and slamming them non-stop. Terra was my main though.

Squall is a beast when you gear him up for EX absorption. The only downfall is his HP moves can give you enough time to counter before they go off.

Demon monsters that can control time.... Obviously that guy doesn't know who Ultimecia is.

Seriously though, that was a pretty good laugh. I do hope WoL makes it back since he was a pretty good fighter. Only character that I hope doesn't make a comeback is Exdeath. I couldn't figure out how to play him at all.

Exdeath is fucking broken if you can play him right. Dude was infuriating to fight.

Never bothered to use Exdeath but a coworker was so fucking deadly with him.

I liked Golbez, if you got someone in a air combo it was over.
