...No. She wasn't. At all.

Besides that, when you get to fighting Lv 130 characters, your attacks do so little damage that it's hard to even get enough brave for AM. Not to mention that 1 little mistake and you lose all that brave in a single attack.

I unlocked Cloud at some point, not sure how. Hopefully I'll be able to unlock Tifa somehow too...

Edit: Awesome, Tifa assist lets you feign afterwards, can't wait to try Tifa out with how awesome that shit is even on an Assist.

Always worked fine with me, then again I don't play no gear/summon matches so I don't know how bad she is in those.

Reading a few comments about the demo here and there, so far it seems that:

-Exdeath's AI actually uses guards now, so no more easy leveling but...
-...on the other hand, Lightning can spam Cure until she has enough BRV to land a clean OHKO. All she has to do is abusing the terrain to her advantage to trick the AI so she can't be hit and then proceed to mash O (lol) to build BRV. It seems like the AI won't use assists for whatever reason;
-Kain's attack are fast and have insane range. Jump is not so good since it's easily dodged though;
-Bartz can now use Yuna's Ifrit and Laguna's Ragnarok blade;
-Shantotto's spells are much faster and her Fire spell fires multiple projectiles;
-Squall's Beat Fang nerf is barely noticeable.

Playing as Kain now... holy fuck he's badass. You can't bait the AI with Jump unfortunately, but it comes out fast enough to punish a lot of moves with it. Easy to bait a dodge/guard with an assist and then hit em with it too.

Just tried the Lightning thing myself against Gabranth in the Lunar Subterranean and it's exactly as described: mash O and win.
It works exactly like the Vanitas Sentiment glitch in BBS: you only need to position in a way there's a large rock between you and the opponent and you can't possibly lose.

The AI takes forever to use EX-charge and even when he enters EX-mode the only thing he does is attempting to jump over the rock, without managing to do so. No assists whatsoever.

The only time the AI will move is when an EX-core pops and even then that doesn't affect your curespamming in the least.
I'm not sure if this is going to change with a higher difficulty setting, but it's really idiotproof in the demo.

The obvious downside is that it's reaaaaally boring. I guess it will be a bit faster with Curasa, but it takes forever with Cure.

Can't wait to see what Gilgamesh can do. I'm going to lose it if his line when entering EX Mode is "It's morphing time!"

Also, is it just me or is Prishe's face really... off?

Been a while but I remember thinking the Shantotto CG looked awful too, I'm sure (see: hope) she'll look better in the actual game. '

I'm loving Lightning in the demo. She's easily the character I enjoy the most so far.
The game just feels much better and faster. Can't wait to see Prishe in action and more of Yuna.
I guess Aerith could be on the list for DLC characters now.. after all she already has a model and 4 attacks as well as VA.
