3 good guys become bad, but only Jecht switches from bad to good. I wish they played around with switching sides a bit more. But they probably only did it to even the sides because they overloaded the good side with new characters.
Really wish they had not just decided to skip some FF titles for this game and took the bad guys from those.

Well Idk what other 'memorable' baddies were in FF6 or 9 than the main boss really. 5 had gilgamesh but we already got him.

General Leo would've been nice similar to the way Golbez is and could interact with Terra and Kefka. But looks like no hopes for FF6 char as Vaan seems to be the one hanging around with Terra and release date real close.

General Leo from VI could've made a good Chaos member, someone who's following orders because its his job. Or he could've been on Cosmos. You could do the same thing with Beatrix maybe. I'd say Zorn and Thorn could have an Ice Climbers thing going on, but they'd probably be too similar to Kefka.

Beatrix was a bad guy in FF9 for a while, she would've been a great addition. 6... you could probably add another main character and have them switch sides.

What the Cosmos side really lacks is comic relief. Who's gonna pick up that gauntlet? Prishe? Shantotto?

Kefka and Exdeath (VOID VOID VOID) have that gig wrapped up over on Chaos' side.

Either Beatrix or Celes could have been villains as they have nearly identical reasons for doing what they did.

Beatrix would have been cool to have, and as a bonus she has some nice music in FF9. Not gonna complain about getting You're Not Alone in Dissidia though.

I didn't like how she is put above Warrior of Light but guess it was to advertise FFXIII. He made more sense to me after I play the first Dissidia and him being the from the first FF. Hell, look at Garland at the front, his match isn't Lightning.

Hmm, not sure how I feel about Laguna's voice, sounds too young. Although he has potential for some pretty good one liners.

Laguna would be my guess. Shantotto is too full of herself and Prishe is too serious IMO.

me too. putting her against Garland is like an excellent way to play up the clash between the old and new generation of FF characters..
Garland being the first antagonist and Lightning being the newest protagonist.

after all, part of what makes this game awesome in the first place was that we could finally do what-if FF match ups.

I also like how Shantotto made it to the boxart. Vaan and Noah too, but she's the only visible representation of XI...
and so very curious why Tidus' default costume is topless this time round..
