The entire soundtrack for the first game is here, along with the new stuff, yes.
Anyone found a way to get DLC (costumes and Aerith) with a rom yet?
The final boss theme has started growing on me. I still don't like the vocals (is that TWEWY's singer by the way?) but part where it changes from Cantata Mortis to God in Fire is epic.
The dungeon themes are all pretty good, though the characters' themes are so-so (Yuna's theme in particular is meh).
For Aerith you just need to save the DLC file from the demo. I didn't get her because apparently it's separate from your save or something and I didn't feel like redownloading it. Doubt I'll ever use her so it's not really a priority. Other DLC you can grab yourself off the JP PSN store (WoL has a 4th costume up on there for free right now).
Just beat the story myself, unlocked the 13th cycle story and another story where you can just pick 5 characters of your choosing. Figured I'd try that and the first thing I come across is a level 89 Ultimecia with over 10k HP that one shots me... think I'll pass for now.
Carmen Lucis gives me the chills.
Every single time.
I read that you don't get Aerith from the Prologus save data, only a Chocobo Cologne accessory.
You need to purchase Prologus from PSN in order to get her. Don't know the details about it, though.
Ending was meh.
Where is the opening movie? :3
I think she's a seperate download on the PSN once you've bought the game. Oh well, she doesn't seem good to me anyway (6 seconds of invincibility is nice I guess, but using 2 assist meters for it might not be worth it).
Also found a solution to grindan. You can set custom rules in this so I've made crits do a fuckton of damage and made EX cores instantly appear and give full EX meter. Easy to just beat the fuck out of level 100 max AI Bartz (or anyone, really) and get a ton of levels.
Say hi to the game-changing feature, Precision Block:
That's... dumb >_>
I can hear the tourneyfags weeping. Either way it requires retardedly precise timing (never seen the AI do it either), not that big a deal.
Wouldn't you be better off dodging in the first place anyway? It's not like with the guard stun you can do a lot to counter a blocked HP attack anyway.
If you had time to do this, you had more than enough time to fucking dodge.
Parry with blockstun... not really broken or anything, but hey... if you pull it off it'll probably leave your opponent confused for a quick second unless you do it a lot. Mindgames.
I guess skilled players will eventually master it to some degree. Isn't the timing similiar to Exdeath's Omniblock?
It can potentially wreck characters that have HP attacks with long start time.
I wonder if the AI abuses it to the point it makes things unbearable at high levels/difficulty settings.
GOD DAMN FUCK DESPERADO CHAOS. 60k HP and he tears my ass up! None of his moves are blockable so he's not easy to just tear apart like the first Chaos, but he isn't TOO bad to dodge. When he does hit you though it's game over. So much God damn damage.
Post a video, like I said about the moogle thing. Also I never bothered with replay saves in the first game but these can be uploaded to youtube without any problems? I would record my own with RMJL but I have to male to male audio cable(s) right now. Or a good video editor to throw music or something in.
Yeah, there's an option in the menu somewhere that lets you convert the replay to an .avi file (should give you a few file size options too, so you can have it high quality or lower for faster upload). Got Prishe and Gilgamesh unlocked finally (could have got them straight after beating the cycle 012 story but oh well, didn't know how). Prishe seems pretty cool so far.
