Anyone know where I can procure some Scarlite... Scarlitite? something like that. The only place I've seen it so far has been in the Labyrinth, but I cant take any of it out with me.

Not sure what you mean as out of context, you said SE does good prequels and referenced CC as a game that came to mind, when it was both horrible as a prequel and a game overall. Also if posting an off-hand humorously sarcastic image about something off topic is "trying" I don't think you understand the simplicities of image hosting on the internets.
And sucking has nothing to do with hook-hand syndrome. From what the demo showed me it was a game I would have gotten into had I been able to enjoy it without the irritating and uncomfortable control scheme.
Referencing the story, not the game play. What do you think the previous sentence was talking about? CC had a good story that ended the tale of Zack incredibly, and even though you knew how it was going to end (badly) the game still made you care about him. It also showed better characterization of Cloud as an eager newbie and Sephiroth BC (before crazy). Compared to 7, it told a better story (though likely more to do with the times and translation). It's not perfect, but it's good.
The game play was repetitive, almost to a fault (but not quite), yet it wasn't bad - or even horrible. It was simply mediocre, that much was decided by your tolerance of hack-and-slash games.
And no, the trying isn't about image hosting. But I'm glad you feel it's simple enough.
You don't need any sort of hook-hand or claw to play this game. What the shit are you smoking?
You use one hand for the analog and left trigger, and one hand for the face buttons and right trigger. What about that is uncomfortable? You never even have to touch the dpad. Or maybe you've never played a PSP game before? Maybe you've never played Monster Hunter? You know, the game that actually requires some claw manoeuvring. Because if your hand cramps after 15 minutes then you're doing it wrong. I won't deny that after a while it doesn't hurt, but that while is a few hours, not 15 minutes.
In fact, the only complicated thing about the control scheme is the right trigger being a button modifier. But if you can't figure out a few basic mods which take 10 minutes to learn, then you do suck at the game.

Fuck Yeah....
edit: images hate me this week ><
Slow to catch up but finally got Prishe. Omg fun.
I accidentally overgrinded the new guys to rush through the first story (thanks Rule exploit Gabranth), but I think I killed the amount of gil I get in the process; my inventory is pretty abysmal. Any ideas for how to get rich quick?

The only good story elements of CC were the ones tied directly to FF7 (Zack-Cloud, Seph, Nibleheim, the ending) everything else was completely uninteresting and boring as all hell. Not a single fuck was given for any of the original characters or their stories because they were vague, dull, repetitive and felt largely pointless. (sidenote: whoever wrote/translated the script deserves to be shot)
As far as uncomfortable control scheme it's not a point I really intend to argue, it irritated me enough to not buy the game and there's no good reason to not make PSP games playable on the PS3.
Also, keep telling me I suck at a game I never played beyond the demo, it's really making a lot of sense.
The original characters served their purpose, like giving motivation to the original characters and helping tie-in things with the prequel. Who cares if they weren't all unique and special butterflies, they all did their job fine in making you care about Zack and his story. They all follow pretty clear Japanese stereotypes, I don't see how characters can be repetitive... what, did they keep saying the same thing over and over again? I can't remember, though I know it isn't MGS.
And the script is cheesy, welcome to SE-writing. Generally, it ain't that great and is subjective. When it had to hit hard, it hit hard, and that's all I cared about. SE writing tends to do that at least.
Yet it's still something you brought up (more than twice), and it's retarded because the control scheme is fine. If you can't manage to grasp the pretty simplistic control scheme on the PSP, you think you'd fair that much better on a PS3 controller? Or would it mean that your girly-hands would hurt less so you'd actually give it a chance? Give me a break.
They literally do, but their sentiments as well, they never seem to develop in any meaningful way. And I don't find dialogue in SE games cheesy or bad in general I just found CC to be particularly bad.
You're trying to argue my opinion. You're also equating dislike with inability. The controls weren't complicated or confusing to me, I just disliked them enough to deter me from buying the game I otherwise would have been interested in and referencing it to a greater issue of being able to play on the PS3.
You think the control scheme is fine, I disliked it, let's continue arguing this, it's fun.
Yuna laughing scene wasn't cheesy or bad? Every SE game has moments, you could probably pick apart entire games and find "cheesy" in every other line. CC is no different, the only difference would be if you want to invest in the story and characters or not.
I'm now more interested in seeing how you would make them better. What wouldn't be frustrating for you?
Double'd
Medals in Labyrinth cap at 999. Sad cause there's still a bunch of x2medal enemies I can easily kill.
You missed the "in general" part. I literally typed out FF10 as another bad example but didn't put it in the post. Compare CC/10 to Vagrant Story, FFT (even more the WoTL rewrite), FF12, FF9...? SE games are capable of beautiful writing/dialogue which makes the abominations such an eyeroll.
As far as what would make the controls better? I haven't played the demo since the 1st one came out but my biggest gripe is simply an action intensive game on a handheld doesn't work for me. It's stuff as simple as the awful analog stick (as well as only 1), the PSP not sitting well in the hands, the rigidity of it all, it just takes me out of any game requiring a degree of precision/urgency.
Edit: Also I have the bad tendency of jerking a controller in a moment of urgency which means shaking the screen on a hand held.
Dissidia is hardly intensive for an action game. In fact, compared to most action games (the good ones) and fighting games in general, Dissidia is pretty averagely paced. There's little that requires you to probably time combos (as the brave > hp ones are easily landed and not all character's are Jecht) and for the most part the only thing you need to know is whether your moves suck or not and if you can punish the enemy with them. Duodecim is more complex in that regard with assists.
Dissidia hardly needs any precision what-so-ever. It has urgency, but all games do depending on the situation. Your gripe is with the PSP itself, not to control scheme (WHICH I REPEAT IS FINE).
