But you can? It's not hard. Infact, the hardest part of dodging Meltdown is knowing when they're going to release it, and if you aren't sure you can easily keep your distance while they charge the only version of that spell with a remotely random chance to hit you. And that's only if you managed to get enough brave to make them give a fuck and not rush you down. And an area where Tornado is deadly makes any other attack deadly, especially HP moves with range to them.
The only place Tornado or Aero dominate is near the ceiling of a level.
Real men play ground characters. Enjoy your never getting me to the ceiling.
Meltdown the dash spammers... and her melee with the ice is ridicuously fast and has good range with spammability
She does have issues though nevertheless like Onion Knight does. Only good thing was his poke poke poke ground combo, cancel (evade move), air poke poke combo into the HP poke move. He was the most predictable character which bothered me because I expected him to be one of the strongest based off him being... Onion freaking Knight! His Ex Burst always makes me smile because of the FF-fight style references with the menu and back attack XD He needs some buffs too ._. I play him occasionally but tend to have issues winning against friends especially Cloud of freaking range melee abuse Darkness, which Kuja shuts down easily with his mine move.
yeah, my main issue with OK is how easy he is to read. You block a move and OK pays for it dearly. You can win, if you're being extra careful and feint, but even that's dangerous as some errant attack might kill you.
http://www.siliconera.com/2010/09/21...-dissidia-012/The leading man of Final Fantasy XII… Revenant Wings is going to
appear in another Final Fantasy title. Bobby Edner, Vaan’s voice
actor, tweeted about doing voice work for another Final Fantasy
game. He confirmed in another tweet that he is indeed reprising his
role as Vaan.
One, perhaps likely, possibility is Vaan will be a character in Dissidia
012[duodecim] Final Fantasy. However, the tweet was done back in
May. Maybe Dissidia 012[duodecim]’s North American release isn’t
too far away. Square Enix confirmed the PSP game for the West
earlier today.
http://www.siliconera.com/2010/09/21...os-storylines/Next year, you’ll be able to play Dissidia 012[Duodecim]: Final
Fantasy in English. Square Enix announced the game for North
America and Europe plus explained what the 012 in the title means.
Duodecim, 12 in Latin, refers to the 12th battle between Chaos and
Cosmos. Good and evil characters from the Final Fantasy series will
come together for yet another war. Square Enix created two
storylines for the PSP follow up. There are Cosmos and Chaos
storylines to go through.
Three new characters have been announced so far: Lightning, Kain,
and Tifa.
I was going to complain a bit but then I remembered...
WoL's is Ultimate Shield
Emperor's is Melancholia something (Salt?) can't really read it.
Lightnings first ability, not very sure but im pretty sure its the Japanese name for Thunderfall (Gestalt move she has).
Other one is Omega Weapon equipped.
Meteorain, Flare, Light Thruster (seems like it), Jecht Beam, Firaga, Lord of Arms...
also yay Gabranth and Shantotto are in the FMVs... but why is Tidus topless?
gee i actually hope Vaan doesn't come back because i'd much prefer Ashe. She was the real main character in XII after all.. but that said both she and Vaan make sense as protagonist choices against the existing Gabranth.
Hope Shadowlord joins in the fray for XI. He did get a nice WotG makeover recently too
alternatively, both lilith and lilisette would be really interesting too.. Lilisette would be a welcome addition cos shes both a girl and not magey, which most current female characters happen to be. Actually maybe just lilisette since Lilith is almost too similar to Ultimecia. Would be kinda cool and funny to see them face off tho.. thats what dream matches are made of lol
but one can only dream.. would love to find out who else is being added...
I get the feeling the Judge-like guy in XIV might also be added as a secret character or something.. XIV would have been out for a few months by then and players would be slightly more familiar with the main antagonist from XIV...
Too close to Gabranth I think? He'd be definitely a cool addition though.
If it makes you guys feel any better... Vaan was the main man in Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings
EDIT: and he had a shirt on in Tactics Advance 2 which might make a good alternate costume
http://www.ffcompendium.com/chara/ta2-vaan-a.jpg
at least hes more decently clothed in that..
looks quite nice really.
white shirt really does make a difference..
still, I'd prefer Ashe 100x more.
then again, they're not limited to just adding one.. so who knows
Vaan and Vayne or Balthier and Cid if they're adding more than one would be the combos I'd hope for.
I'm generally more partial to female characters because they're usually more interesting to play. FFs tend to have many archetypical hero guys around too.. besides Dissidia was too sausage heavy. It was like Street Fighter 2.
http://www.andriasang.com/blog/2010/...26201_view.jpghttp://www.andriasang.com/blog/2010/...26202_view.jpgFamitsu has a tiny update on Dissidia Final Fantasy this week. The
entirely of the single page article is actually just about the
collaborative Aya Brea and Cloud costumes that were announced at
the Tokyo Game Show, but there are a few additional bits of info in
there that are worth passing along.
As detailed at TGS, you'll unlock the Aya Brea and Cloud costumes in
Dissidia by purchasing, respectively, The 3rd Birthday and Kingdom
Hearts Birth By Sleep Final Mix. The required download codes are
included exclusively in the first print run versions of the games.
The Cloud costume makes the Dissidia Cloud character look like the
more colorful Kingdom Hearts version of Cloud. The Aya costume
makes Dissidia's Lightning dress up like The 3rd Birthday's Aya Brea.
Square Enix shared screens of the collaborations at TGS:
Tetsuya Nomura shared some comments with Famitsu on the
collaboration. "The Aya costume is a collaboration that was realized
because production on Dissidia and The 3rd Birthday were running in
parallel, and the development teams are in the same group. The Final
Mix costume has the same reason. Also, the release dates were
near, so we decided to link them."
Nomura also provided a hint at more downloads to come. "This time,
Dissidia is full of these types of download elements, so look
forward to a followup report."
Outside of the download content info, the magazine lists a Spring
2011 time frame for Dissidia, a bit more specific than the previous
2011 time frame.
Also, in case you were getting any strange ideas, the magazine's
information box on the game lists "ad-hoc" for the game's wireless
play mode.
AD HOCCCCCCCCCCCC
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
Man doesn't that suck? I don't know why they insist on local wireless onry bullshit. It's not like it's so fantastically hard to make an online mode.
