PC gaming in living room

I'm looking for some good setups for gaming in my living room. I'm mostly concerned about mouse/keyboard and not controllers, since it's obvious how that works. I've tried it a few times in the past, but could never find a comfortable and stable way to use a mouse/keyboard with a recliner or a couch.

Any hardware suggestions, decent furniture/platforms, or other things to make the mouse and keyboard work with a recliner or couch would be great. I'm not convinced that there are many good options, but I'd love to hear some ideas.

I'm sure there are better opinions out there, but i had some of those old school TV dinner stands in the basement. I cut off the legs and now it makes a great keyboard/mouse holder on my lap when i'm laid back in my chair. Keyboard/mouse is wireless and i have my "Desktop" hook up to the TV with HDMI.

Uhm you could maybe go to an IKEA and pick up a Dave table. It's a laptop table, but you could just use it for your keyboard/mouse

Remember the desk you had in elementary school? I think target or something sells just the top of that desk, the wood, with a beanbag material underneath it. It's a great surface for a laptop, but I'm sure keyboard/mouse will work.
