1. WotG happens. Atomos is the balancer of universes, devouring the weak ones. The Vana'diel we know and love must fight to survive against a darker alternate present. The battlefield is the past, and you win by ensuring your present comes to be.

2. With Atomos on the scene, weird shit in his orbit is showing up as well. A THIRD alternate Vana'diel, which is being overrun and destroyed by powerful monsters (possibly from a fourth alternate reality), has shown up.

Basically, atm, it's Sliders meets Bokurano meets Noein.

I wouldn't say that it isn't real but that it got divine attention whereas the other two we know about were left for dead. Even without the divine attention if Atomos connects infinite Vana'diels then there should have been other worlds similar to our own that were not tampered with like our own.

But we all know those worlds would be boring. Bring on the post-apocalyptic worlds!

wtf weird, my laptop can do update, yet my desktop cannot. Laptop DLing over 3k new files (update + dat edit fixes), PC has 654. I started laptop much earlier.

I read it as "people that upgrade their relic/mythic/whatever to 80+ can use their relic weaponskill at 75 caps"
Cause as it was up to yesterday; if you try to use your upgraded weapon in a 75 cap you cannot use the weaponskill.

So long as your actual level lets you equip the weapon, that's what it seems like.

From what I could tell if would not go away if:

(1) You would have countered anyway
(2) The mob would have missed you
(3) The mob attacked you shortly after activating the ability (might have been lag)
