It seems like they don't in new areas. I know I've deaggroed Khalamari using the conflux before, but actions during a stealwar on Ironclad led me to believe it doesn't work in new areas. Could also be an Ironclad-specific thing, or bad timing with VE decay though.

Anyone have a definite confirmation on scorpions dropping/not dropping azure lights? I think our LS was going to do some foot farming tonight, and scorpions seemed like pretty decent targets from the 15 minutes we spent farming pop items for Kampe the other night.

Didn't think to try magic kills for some reason. Anyone know offhand?

If not, what's the best used mobs for xp there now?

I've seen Malacite drop from a gold pyxis, dropped from Murexes. Only once in a several hour party, though.

Thats scarier then getting a mimic to cast meteor on you. He will steal your masamune too. Thanks for the info, I will be avoiding this zone if malacite is in it lol.

Dont forget crawlers too (Ignis Eruca). They are almost always camped as well. Though from my personal experience they are a bit annoying since they have strong fire base attack.

Good luck with that, he seemed to have significant movement speed+ (25%+) when we killed him the other day. He's definitely up there on the more annoying mobs which all seem to be in Attohwa

Anyone who has completed "Hazy Prospects" is there a good area to find the miasma you can trade to for the quest? I ran all over by the mountain and could not find one to trade to =( I don't have a lot of abyssea time I just want to finish the quest >< Any advice?

Kegsay has some maps on page 5, and a marked Tiamat side a page or two later.
All the black spots are miasmas, and since he did it in the fist few days, all of them were up. Just visit each one, and make a note if it's down, that means it's temporary and likely a spot where you can trade counteragent.

This is kinda terrible because
1. I'm not good at this kind of thing
2. I have to use MSPaint
but here is an outlined version of the Tor side. It'll have to do until Kegsay gets his version out the door.

It's not fully marked because I'm short on stones and can't spare the time.

They're really evasive. Don't bring low acc/gimp DDs or else you might find it hard to farm. That's my first impression of them, going to cap gkt skill and pop a sushi when I try them again.

i used bastion ops to fame up since the only repeatable quest will run you mad gilly (amoeban peices iirc). i also did every q i could up to whatever fame i was on. would just hit attohwa late in the vandiel day and get 2 bastion ops at a time. used the foretrap one, warp to #2 and it's right near the dragons. donkeypalooza
