Abyssea - Misareaux Discussion

We know which 5 quests drop seals now. Cooking, Galkan Sausage, Soil and Green, Medical Supplies, and Research Object (probably). I'm going to farm Murex with a party right now with TH4, brb.

Just teamed up with 2 random BLUs who were spell farming on the Murex's at first. Joined up and killed a few of them. Killed maybe 6-8 and only found 2 Spicules. First time trade was rewarded with 800 cruor. Had to rezone to do it again. Second reward was 400 cruor.

got max fame, completed every known quest except dropping the bomb, and wanted: medical supplies. Unable to get Destiny Odyssey from the galka.

Has anyone been able to flag that quest yet? If so what am i doing wrong. Or is his previous quest one of those need to complete multiple times or day change or jpmidnight change.

I know these 3 are grouped, but not sure what they pop:

These 2 seem to be grouped, but not sure what they pop either, perhaps the Orobon quest boss?

Glistening Orobon Liver
Doffled Porrogo Hat

Have no idea what these 4 pop, or if they're even grouped together.

Jagged Apkulla Beak
Bloodied Bat Fur
Blazing Cluster Soul

Any help would be great, trying to finish some sets to pop some stuff today or tomorrow.

Farmed Escarp Murex with a group of 4, SAM BLU THF RDM. They resist BLU magic heavily, SAM was doing good dmg, 800-1200 consistent Gekkos. THEY DO NOT aggro or link during the day, but that changes at night time. Got 3 drops out of 11 kills. Came back now as BLMs and they somewhat resist elemental magic.

Casts Aero/Thunder5 Aeroga/Thundaga3. Aspirable

Out of the 4 we turned in, all only got Cruor, might be a dead end.

skimmer and athamas keyitems too but they are vermin, i'm assuming the cluster has its own, probably with another arcana.

The orobon zone boss key items are the liver from the nearby baby orobons pop item NM, And the frog hat is from the hadet Nm frog

I'm still perplexed about this zone and the "big boss". I found 4 ???s when searching, grouped as such:

Quest boss is Orobon, and is popped by Liver (tier 1 easy NM) and a free roaming NM..

Other 3 ???s are very odd. None of them follow the pattern of the other abyssea zones. Each one seems like another T2 (Orobon quest boss level) NM, none of them seem like zone boss. I'm also apparently missing the KIs from the Skimmer and the Spider (if they have one)...

Perhaps the zone boss ??? hasn't popped yet?

it seems to me that drg is the hardest to get to +1, paladin too since the quest item actually comes from fighting mobs that nobody does. rng rdm etc done from the sheep meat quest is the easiest.

Anybody know a better way of getting drg +1 lance's seals?

Has paladin actually been confirmed, I know it might come from yurim quests but only one seen here is mnk seal, ive traded 3 myself and only got crour, ls friend traded 2 and same, crour.

DRG leg seals are a common drop from the NM Colibri. We did about 8 of them last night while exping and got 10 drg leg seals, 3-4 brd leg seals, and 3 rings.

I see people standing at the Dynamo Clusters' camp fire and not aggroing with mobs staring at them. I aggro sight right away. What seems to be the aggro conditions for these fuckers?

Also Abyssic Cluster is wandering around.

Unlike typical NPC dialogues where if you have aggro you receive the notice "Event skipped" and die, interacting with the campfire will deaggro the clusters. So if you're spamming the fire, you're effectively invisible to them.

What is your status with the quest bosses from visions / scars?

Also, it may be some NM that pops on its own later, and we can't flag the quest till then.
