I gotta follow up. Heqet deaggro'd during pull and went passive, you bio'd and got key item? In that case I'm not surprised. What I'm really wondering is, does the first person on hate list (puller) get it or does it only matter who got the most recent claim (name goes red). As in, if it goes yellow during the fight without going passive/deaggro, does the next person that claims get the item?

No, Ive had a solo RDM pull Iktomi then pass it to my party without it going passive. When I killed it, he got the abyssite.

Just duo'd Cirein-coin blm/rdm and cor/nin. Next time I'll go cor/whm for the rare occasions when the blm gets paralyzed by abominable belch.

The NM's pathing is fucked up and he's susceptible to both gravity and bind, so it's a pretty easy kite fight. Gave caster's and warlock's to help timers and make sure enfeebs stuck. Took about 30 mins total.

All we now is a duo strat for Sobek and everyone with a friend will have AF3+2 legs.

What was the rate on jewels to stones? Every time I low manned that guy I only got jewels to drop. D:

No idea, but you can get all 4 AF3+2 items from Amul, CC and Sobek. Amul and CC are duoable, so thats why I said Sobek.

We've done him 5 times 2 > 1 > 1 > 1 > 1 for jewels. We got 1 stone each on the first 4 pops and 0 on the last. Afaik he will only drop either 1 stone or none. If you want multiple stones, per kill you need to target Sobek.

Yeah, but my duo partner and I want to complete AF3+2 for 4/5 of the Card jobs, and Sobek seems like a half retarded way to go about that. Does anyone have experience fighting Tristitia?

only has 1 drop listed to it thus far.. Ebullient Cape.. was wondering if it had a 2nd...

Only dropped that cape and random crap. Pretty sure it is a giant carrie too, but it was ages ago when we did it. Killed it a few times and only got atma/cape.

Gukmatz - Soloable by SCH/RDM? Strat? Helices worked well when I tried but he runs a tad quick. How bad is he to straight tank as BLU/NIN?
