Limit Break 7 - The Crest Hunt

Spent about 5 hours and finally got my five crests. I hope whoever made this Quest dies in a fire made of AIDS and fireproof crocodiles.

After 4 hours in hal and other random area's fighting EP i got 1 crest. Went to sky this morning fighting the DC pots/dolls got 4 in less than 30 mins. Every drop i would wait 5 mins, it would normally drop in 2~ mobs.

I got all 5 crests while doing flying skulls in Abyssea Tahrongi since I don't have enough merits. Leader asked us to choose either crest or items. Everyone that need crest has it (6 people who need it I think) got it all just within 2 hours. I got it like within 1 hour since I won lot on first 6 crests lol.

Fuck you SE. 12+ hours in and I'm at 3/5. They were dropping fairly frequently in Abyssea, I'd say about 4~7 an hour last night, but when you have to split that 18 ways... yeah.

you guys take this shit way too seriously, stop trying to farm the damn seals all in one go, we have 3 entire goddamn months before next update at least.

Friend and I managed to get him 4/5 of his crests in a few hours of duoing magian trials, averaging one an hour or so.

Just do magian trials on 70+ mobs with a friend and let the kindred crests come as neat little surprises every now and then. I'm in no rush to get 5/5 on the first week, I know its not going to take me 3 months to go from 80 to 85, and its not like those 5 levels is that huge of a difference in doing things, a couple jobs get 1-2 neat new toys to play with JA/spell wise but other than that, whats the rush?

Only reason I can see wanting to get G7 done asap is if you have a level 81+ piece of armor you wanna use, IE AF3 or some other drop, but I doubt anyone has any of the meag awesome AF3s yet anyways so point is moot.

tl;dr stfu you QQers, its just a fucking game. Stop grinding so hardcore and go do a magian trial on 70+ mobs and let the crests come as little surprises.

Dunno about you but I have capped merits and a capped buffer at 80 on all my jobs. Doing anything other trying to finish this limit break is a waste of time and experience.

I saw a ton of people Killing Raptors for hours , farming the Crests. Finally they would realize i was right when I told them they were too low and move on to the Manticores and Rocs. If you can kill DC+ solo, those should be your targets. Dont just think "Oh, this gives xp, it must be high enough to drop a Crest". Robber crabs would like a word with you...
