abyssea is probably the best place for these things, got about 30 in an hour, no joke... now to level my jobs to 85 >_> more abyssea grinding.

Abyssea drops them pretty well, just don't go in with a pick up ally expecting to jump up outta there with 5 in an hour, shits fierce competition. Personally duo'd up 10 in about 6 hours in mamook, wasnt too bad.

Friend and I managed to get him 4/5 of his crests in a few hours of duoing magian trials, averaging one an hour or so.

Just do magian trials on 70+ mobs with a friend and let the kindred crests come as neat little surprises every now and then. I'm in no rush to get 5/5 on the first week, I know its not going to take me 3 months to go from 80 to 85, and its not like those 5 levels is that huge of a difference in doing things, a couple jobs get 1-2 neat new toys to play with JA/spell wise but other than that, whats the rush?

Only reason I can see wanting to get G7 done asap is if you have a level 81+ piece of armor you wanna use, IE AF3 or some other drop, but I doubt anyone has any of the meag awesome AF3s yet anyways so point is moot.

tl;dr stfu you QQers, its just a fucking game. Stop grinding so hardcore and go do a magian trial on 70+ mobs and let the crests come as little surprises.

I got ~45,000 EXP killling fucking elementals getting my five seals. I mean, limit points, actually. I've got capped All Jobs merit categories. I've capped BLM, MNK, and SCH. I've got nearly all my other job's useful merits capped. I don't need fucking merit points. I've got over 1,000 fucking Kindred's Seals sitting around doing jack fucking shit.

So, what benefit am I supposed to be getting from this fucking quest? I'm supposed to pick out much more difficult and likely to fucking kill me things to do Magian Trials instead of easy, quick ones because, "Hey, you'll get some KCs, maybe, eventually, it'll be great!"? No, that's fucking stupid. Either SE needs to let us use our many hundred's of stored fucking useless seals for something, or they need to suck my cock and suck my cock and then die. Fuck retarded Random Number Generator Quests.

It's great tasting all of the delicious tears in this thread. People really do have a sense of entitlement. Has everyone already forgotten the rage and tears of previous LBs? (especially LB5 and LB1?)

Fact of the matter is, 2003~2004 LB1 was ten times worse and you know it.

Rare drop from Exorays that can 1shot you? Check.
Rare drop from Lichs surrounded by other mobs with HP aggro? Check.
Forming alliances with random idiots all wanting the same thing? Check.
No or limited high-level help? Check.

For LB7, you can farm these crests from literally any 70+ mob in the game. Now that's generous.

Ya agreed the drop rate was bad for LB1 but this is ridiculous seriously must be like 2-3% drop rate. Lichs and Exorays had a drop rate around 10% easily probably higher.

I'm really more interested in seeing whether these Empyrean WSs will be any good. Some Mythic WSs were ok but not so much when combined with the need to use at 300%.

What high level help? You do realize that Lichs and Exorays only checked tough @50 right? I did most of my farming with a party sized group when I was getting close to level 50. Even the few times I helped friends do that was probably when I was maybe in my 60's or so. The focus of limit breaks in the past encouraged people to work as a group, tested your knowledge of the game, possibly taught MGS skills and forced you personally to perform a fairly complex solo. All these new limit break quests are just stupid time sinks.

People ; ; Just ask a BLM to help you solo demon elementals at Xarc S. There are at least two demon summoners right by the campaign NPC.

yeah but LB1 items dropped from mobs that existed in 2camps with <20 pop on a 15 min repop, 10 people needing em was enough to be overcamp, now you can farm on every 70+ monster

Seriously, this. I've been telling everyone I know who is having trouble and has BLM or BLM help, I dunno why more don't listen lol. >_>

I wasted like a WHOLE day for 1 crest running around trying to kill stuff..... ugh, then I went and tried the Demon's Elemental method and was done within one episode of 'Worlds Dumbest Criminals Caught On Tape'. :D

Even better, make your own Abyssea group with everyone else being 81+ hence eliminating the competition!

Well I had no issues really doing this LB quest. I just jumped on BST and leisurely killed Erucas in Mount Zhyloum. Took me about 3 hours but I was on TS talking my usual shit while consuming beer and crisps. I don't see the problem.
