Killing the higher tiered demons now in Uleguerand Range and they're dropping crests.



EDIT: Just had a Kindred Seal drop and the next fight had a Kindred Crest drop for any skeptics.

I don't think they share a spot. I had a BS and crest in the same pool. Got it off a wivre in thickets.

So, I do believe these share the same drop-rate slot and timer with KS/BS. Just went 5/8 on them in Mount Zhayolm. Each time a BS or KS dropped, or indeed the Crest, I afk'd for 5 minutes then killed another. Ebony Puddings and the Troll's Automaton (got 3 off this buggar) for winz~ Took like, 40m.

Edit: I honestly believe solo is the best way to go get these. If one can drop every 5 minutes and share a timer with BS/KS, then soloing will get you them quickest. 1 person need 5 = 25m, 6 people need 30 = 2:30hrs <.<

So far spent three hours killing various mobs in Northlands [s], and got one drop an hour (all of Gigas incidentally), with constant chain 5s (dual boxing). Not really enjoying this!

Yeah, definitely independent of KS/BS. Just killed a Djinn, got a Crest, fought enough and it dropped a Beast Seal (it also blew up on me for 4.5k damage with capped Shell5 on but that's another story!) So going afk if you just got a seal seems pointless.

Well, I haven't killed anything yet, but people keep saying EP+ but are we sure the lower limit isn't a little above that? I got bad reports from my friends on Northlands[S] as well. Perhaps the mobs there are "on the line" and most are below the level needed but every once in a while one is high enough to drop it? Thus making the drop rate APPEAR bad? I dunno, just a thought I had

The mobs I am all fighting are level 77 minimum, the majority being EM+ (hence constant chains). Northlands past, not present.
