Trial update

Friend of mine and I beasted through the thunder staff weather trials. Now we are on killshot 150 vermin with thunder damage.

Doing chigoes in grauberg. We get credit for each others kills. I was told by someone in my ls that it did not use to work like this. Thought I'd pass the info along.

For people saying relic trials didn't get reduced (still are 1 killshot = 1 objective completion) have you also tested if two of the same relic on the same trial get credit for each other killshots like what's happening with the elemental staves above?

Ok, now try different weapons but same family. If I knew someone I would test it... I am being optimistic thinking it -may- work I will admit.

If its as wide ranged as any WS/Magic/Avatar whatever killshot for same mob type then that's cool. If it has to be, Tachi: Kaiten, for instance.. still might not help as much. Awesome find though, really hope this pans out for us.

I was doing Puks during windsday for the evasion dagger.
There was 3 of us and we were getting 1 objective per kill.
When wind weather popped up during windsday we were getting 6 objectives per kill.

Maybe thats the purpose of the fake relics?

I just contacted a JP Spharai MNK I know who's also on arcana killshots, I'm not sure if he's otw up to sky to test or not. I'm not very confident though, because my trial says the experience yielding mobs need to be defeated with Tachi: Kaiten, and they would be dying to Final Heaven. However, that being said, the two people with the same relic probably don't need to be on the same trial, a fully complete Amano SAM can probably still killshot mobs with kaiten in the same party as someone who just finished upgrading their amano to help them along (for the killshot trials at least, probbaly not the just WS 1500 times).


EDIT: Yeah mixing and matching relics doesn't work.

Vodou is coming up to sky and is going to test if being on a different trial will still get one of the Monks credit as long as the correct finishing blow is landed.

It's looking like in order for relics to team up, they have to be the same relic, and on the same trial. Vodou on the Aquan killer Spharai trial getting the finishing blow with Final Heaven on an arcana mob seems to have not yielded an objective completion for the JP Spharai monk in the party who was in EXP range who is currently on the arcana killer trial. There is a small chance the JP monk didn't understand what we were trying to do, but I doubt it.

On the topic of exp range, you do have to be within exp range of each other in order for the objective to be completed for you. When I was running to Ramyrez in the above screenshots he was killing things and I would only receive the too far away to obtain exp message. Once I got on the same island as him, I started getting the objective completed message when he was killing mobs.
