I noticed something odd while I was spamming Cookbook for THF seals today.
I did 20 repetitions over 2 in game Vana'diel days, and got 5 seals. 3 BST, and 2 THF.

ALL of the BST seals, I got on Watersday, ALL of the THF seals I got on Windsday.

Each quest has a pool of 4 seals, there are 8 days in a Vana'diel week.

Am I on to something, or was my seal pattern pure freaking coincidence?

I did end up getting Whm legs back to back earlier this evening, but I'm pretty sure it was on windsday or watersday though :/

Well, an alternate is that it's not locked to job/day, but rather each day it picks a job from the pool, and that's what it is for the day.
And/or it could even be different for each person.

But going forward, keeping an eye on the day and noting back to back/runs of seals is the thing to look out for.

(Also, Miroku, one time your sig suffered a load error for me, and it consisted solely of the first second of the fat chick, looping endlessly. It was goddamn terrifying.)

No difference in STR or cast/recast with spells, like the +1 version. Will try and test acc later but no idea how to test if the attack speed got an increase.

45 turn ins yesterday on the Galka Sausage quest trying for RNG legs.... 6/45 on Seals, 0 RNG ~.~ QQ. 2 PUP, 1 DRK, 3 RDM only Was my 26th turn in before I even got my first seal... was convinced I was doing something wrong. This was very frustrating and felt like a huge waste of precious stone time I don't have due to my regular NM static eating up all my stone time. Need to find a better way of getting these seals

Oh and is anyone else having issues with the Confluxes loading up when you zone in? Had to log out 4 times in a row in order to use Conflux 3 back to the start again after turning in the sausage ><

Just walk away a little (towards the mobs) then come back; make take a few times but the conflux should reload. Seems to sometimes skip loading the conflux when there is a lot of people crammed in that nook.

Or walk a little north to conflux 5 with the flies. Either way has to be faster then logout.

Over 87 repetitions of Soil and Green, I found no real correlation between day and seal reward. On two separate occasions, I received three different seals during one Vana'diel day.

As for the Cook-Book Quest, i got over about 12 runs >

in that order, a lot of "Nothing" Inbetween. but still haven't seen the one i was truly after (THF)

Ive missed the last day or two spamming quests for the +1. Where are the +2 items found? higher tier Nms im assuming?

Hasso (and all JA haste) doesn't affect spell recast. As for delay, find some NM with a lot of HP that nobody is killing (or maybe a weaker mob if you use a wooden katana or something). Try to get like 200 swings off with normal hasso and only 4% haste in gear. Repeat with legs on full-time (for now, I say to do it this way because we don't know if it needs to be on at activation only, or the entire time). The idea is though that fractions of a second become easier to spot when they are added up. Really should become obvious before 200 swings, but you get the idea (50 swings of a 450 weapon with 1% haste should be a 3-4 second reduction in total delay).

just bad luck, I did 66 Sausages yesterday all NQ meat. Got 9 RNG, 8 DRK, 5-6 PUP and 3 RDM. 40% seal rate seems about right from everyone in my LS but people were having 10+ no seal streaks.

Pretty sure he meant he tested if the casting penalty that hasso/seigan add was lessened with the legs, not that he tested the hasso haste with spells >.>.

For this we did Orobon NM in Misareaux. Jewel was 100% (6/6), 2 cards, and one Latent effect Randgrith club.

Hopefully there is a second NM with 100% card drop and 20% on jewel. We have like 3-4 pop sets each of Misareaux Tier3 NM, so we can test it soon. Also, triggering a yellow !! might cause 3 to drop instead of 2.

Just some clarification, for each +2 you need a Card, a stone, a jewel and a coin? Are they universal or are they labeled for the job? If the mob was dropping the Jewel and the cards, where did you get the stone and the coin?
