I'm currently compiling a spreadsheet of where all the seals drop via NM's. I'll post a google version of it as soon as I get it. If anyone wants to help update it, PM me. Until then, here are a list of locations of seals via quests.
Misareaux Coast : Af3 Legs
Sausages (PUP RNG RDM DRK) (Doing this quest 6 should get you fame 3)
Cookbook of Hope Restoring (WHM THF BST SAM)play around with the fire until you get 1 +3 sausage, then fill up your inventory completly with meat, and random items from your satchel, trade meat to the fire, and spam your enter key, even if you burn it, the game cant give you the -1 and you will either receive +3 or the meat will just burn up into nothing, takes me about 10 minutes to make 3-4 stacks this way of +3
edit - make sure you have no other sausages in your inventory other then the +3
Unidentified Research Object (BLU PLD BRD MNK)
Soil and Green (WAR SMN SCH DNC) (Fame 2 Required)
Medical Supplies (BLM DRG NIN COR) (Fame 3 Required)
Attohwa Chasm: Af3 Head
Threadbare Tribulations (WHM, SAM, BST, THF)
Looking for Lookouts(SCH, DNC, WAR, SMN) (Fame 2 Required)
Flown The Coop (MNK, BRD, PLD, BLU) (Fame 2 Required)
An Acrididaen Anodyne (RDM, PUP, DRK, RNG) (Fame 3 Required)
Vunkerl Inlet : af3 Feet
The Boxwatcher's Behest (SMN, WAR, DNC, SCH) (Doing this quest 6x should get you fame 3 and also open quest for -4hr on stones)
Aqua Puraga (BLM, NIN, COR, DRG)
Bad Communication (THF, WHM, BST, SAM)
His Bridge, His Beloved (BLU, PLD, BRD, MNK) (Fame 2 Required)
Scattered Shells, Scattered Mind (PUP, RNG, RDM, DRK) (Fame 3 Required)
When you say 6x repeats of The Boxwatcher's Behest will give max fame, at what weight is that? I've done it well over 6 times on mimimum weight and only have rank 2 fame after I did 3 Ward hand-ins and 2 Ops.
For clarification
The situation described was capped gear haste + March + Haste + hasso, gear haste was 26%+ (sufficiently capped).
We attacked at the same rate.
If haidate were 1% JA haste we would have attacked at different rates.
If haidate were 1% gear haste we were already at cap so it would not (and did not) make a difference.
I ruled out being magical haste becuase we tested Haste(spell) + capped gear haste only (with hasso) for a while, same attack rate.
The point is that all things equal the only time we saw a different attack rate between the two of us was without hasso, wearing unkai+1 and byakko's respectively.
Check it, then think about what you first said (what the effect on the gear pieces does). Then think about what you just posted. The duration of Hasso is longer, that's about it.
Why nothing else we know as of yet? Cause if you tested with capped everything haste (as stated above) and your saying after using Hasso one of you attacked faster, the enhancement either breaks the Haste cap (unlikely) or something is wrong.
Also, curious, how did you record your findings? Counted or parsed? Which program? I'm almost sure there's a mistake in there nothing else.
I don't necessarily see your info as contradictory to the earlier poster who said he had 5% hasso (or whose math worked out to be 5%), as his were +2 legs, and you're using +1. WAR legs jump from 6% haste and 3% DA to 7% and 5%, respectively, going from +1 to +2; that's a fairly big jump. Tantra Hose +1 --> +2 gives a 1% haste, +2 kick attacks, and +6 STP, another noticable boost. SAM +1 --> +2 gives +3 STR, +3 Dex, and +2 STP... if the enhances Hasso property doesn't get significantly stronger, then SAM got hosed. And as SE's love child, we all know SAM doesn't get hosed.
So, +1% haste on +1 legs, +5% haste on +2 legs seems to more-or-less fit the pattern the leg pieces, and I think a lot of folks are looking for flaws in your post because they really, really wanted +5% haste on the their hasso pants.
I clearly said the only time we attacked at different speeds is without hasso, not with.
The parse I posted was kparser, I visually accounted for zanshins, but it's very easy to see a difference in attack speeds over time as one person will gradually, visibly overtake the other person. I don't have the parses to corroborate my max gear haste test because I'd get the same amount of scrutiny providing anecdotal evidence vs. questionable parse data at high attack speeds regardless. But I would suspect that differences in attack speeds are more quickly noticeable at high amounts of haste over low amounts, so visually it would become very clear if there is a difference.
Not so sure why you're so sure there would be a mistake, you haven't offered any reason why this would be impossible.
I have to wonder how many people who refer to SAM as Squeenix's 'love child' were around before the job got Hasso/Seigan/2H Buff.
Long enough to level and merit sam as their main jobs, and completely forget they had other jobs before said update.
Apologies if this has been posted before, I went a couple pages back and found nothing so I'll go ahead and post the info.
Finished my SCH Head +1 today. The "Enhances Ebullience" effect changes Ebullience damage from 20% to 25%. Naked Stone V on a Tiny Mandragora did 980, with Ebullience did 1176 (expected 20% increase), and with ebullience and the hat did 1225 (25% increase). Didn't need to be on for the using of ebullience, just the casting.
I'll test Rapture when I have another few minutes.
