A friend of mine got her NIN feet as well like this. Afterwards, you can sell AF to others that can't wait for December update, lol.

first 3 weeks of Scars i set up parties every night just to get my boots finally got my my war after 39 hours pup after 4 hours blu after 108 hours drg 7 hours (mnk and pld free lot) just getting seals to drop with or without grellow seems to be a nightmare

That sounds wonderful, that sounds reasonable, that sounds like something I've done and just am incredibly unlucky on >.> More to the point just grinding gold boxes is pretty unproductive unless you arn't capped on KIs and are waiting on timer NM respawns.

Has anyone figured out what the added effects do on the BST head and feet yet? I've been using the head while fighting Raskovnik (Vermin vs. Plants) but haven't noticed a whole lot. Certainly not a visible difference in intimidation rate. I've started using RR atma too so differences in damage are not something i'm going to be eyeballing, let alone killing it without the atma so I can waste more zetas on it for control tests.

Hit things for an hour and finalli got the stupid Retrace Staff to proc DRK AF3's set bonus. Managed proof for how it works too. It adds a modifier to your damage based on HP%. Damage * (1+HP%). At 100%, I was able to get double damage on a hit /w signet staff. @ 50% I got 50% added onto damage, @ 30% I got 30% added onto damage. Since Retrace Staff has 1 DMG, damage isn't varied and it's much easier to get values which are conclusive~ Only did around ~500 hits total, but it appears to be 1-2% proc rate =/. I took more pictures, but no reason to flood this post /w them, unless someone wants them~

All 3. I'm guessing it's .5% per piece after the first, or 1% per piece after the first. Should be easier to test once body/hands come out.

Awesome. This means DRG probably works the same way. Also means it's not likely worth full-timing the set unless you can cap haste, since dropping even 1% haste is going to drop your damage by more than the 1% doubling you lose.

Yea the set bonus is an overwhelming disappoint. You'd think with the popularity of Usukane and Morrigan sets, they'd want to put a little more utility into the set bonus. At least the pieces are unique and powerful individualli, even if only situational~

EDIT: There's also the possibility of an exponential increase as you obtain more pieces of the set. Salvage set bonus requires all 5 pieces, and WoTG is a linear increase. There's no particular pattern they're expected to follow for the AF3 set~

If i recall (At least with the ~68 Iron Ram set) The first 4 pieces gave a total of ~15 Resistance, and the final piece doubled that to 30 Resistance.

So these set bonuses might work like those, partial lame bonuses up until 5/5 where the set bonus is doubled. like say, right now about ~2% Proc, with all 5 we might be looking @ 5~7% proc rate or so, which isn't horrible if the full set still allows for capped haste.

Looking most forward to THF Set as its my favorite job... Not looking foward to Aladdin body.

So you can confirm the proc rate is based on the number of AF3 pieces and not your HP. Makes sense, but again, 0.5% per piece? Ugh, what are the other set bonuses like? I can sort of understand DRK's being lower since it's just based on normal swings and not conditional attacks like DA or TA, though that is still stupid low. Hopefully the full set will bump it up to around 5% at least.

That proc rate is pretty similar to what I found on DNC. My first parse had it around 1% with 2 pieces, my second parse had still around 1% with 3 pieces? It's very difficult to tell what the true proc rate is when it is so low.

Luckily war can afford to tp in all 3 pieces and still cap haste without dropping 5/6hit iirc.
