I'm positive someone said the NIN set augment was an occasional third attack when Dual Wielding. I'm not certain they knew how Innin was augmented.

Regarding SCH set bonus , after shitload casts between trials , worms in abyssea , & other random stuff , I figured what augment grimoire is , it's basically manafont/chainspell with really low activation rate like 1% , I noticed some spells would fire insantly w/o even casting animation with 0 MP consumption , happened many times with Water V , & Stone V , like u still see the casting bar like regular but the spell would fire @1% with absolutely 0 MP consumption .
^ Really? Holy shit....
So 1% of your spells will fire off in your precast gear, nice. I guess if it's free at least you're not losing anything.
I could cast the same spell again right away , the bonus affected both cast & recast like I said was manafont/chainspell effect , but I'll test again in Light Arts to check if it has same bonus as Dark Arts , & run more tests for Dark Arts to see if it only applies to elemental magic or anyother type , though as the description say grimoire means all spells under art effect.
Thats pretty beast, too bad its only like 1%btw anyone find out what the whm set bonus was? i read somewhere it was like brd except with a 1% proc rate

What? BRD set was +primary stats on songs. I suppose that could work (though it'd be somewhat in reverse wouldn't it? Barfira would give +MND since it's water based?) but it'd make more sense to have them simply annul or even absorb spells of the element they're protecting against.
Has the cor set bonus been tested thoroughly (probably spelled that wrong) yet? On wiki it says Quick draw occasional deals triple damage, which would be insane since my quickdraw already does around 750-800 only using smoldering sky. If so can someone point me to where the testing is being done? A few pages back it said testing hasn't been done and i read every post past that trying to find it. I would greatly appreciate it.
I don't know who editted the wiki, but I had a friend who found the same thing. Low proc rate tripling of Quick Draw damage.
Assume it's correct to use this thread as opposed to starting a new one!
Thanks to Muhnjob for testing with me since I didn't plan to make these gloves (though I may now).
Unkai Kote +1 Enhances Sekkanoki:
~1191hp Spirits Within
300tp - Sekka (gloves remain on for WS), 223 dmg. Equivalent to a 200TP WS.
200tp - Sekka (gloves for JA and WS), 186dmg.
200tp - Sekka (gloves for JA, removed for WS), 148dmg.
Seems that when you use Sekka, you gain 50% of the remaining TP as bonus TP.
Attempt to confirm:
260tp - Sekka (gloves for JA+WS).
Expected dmg = 1191/8 + 1191*.8/16 = 148.875+59.55 = 207~208 (give or take another few depending on rounding)
Result: 204 dmg
Close enough, I'm sure I'm off on rounding.
TLDR:
Unkai Kote +1 gives you 50% of the remainder TP as bonus TP on your WS, but must be left on for the WS for it to work.
Was lvling RNG today, and I noticed I hit IT murexes for 700+ dmg in 2 occasions during rapid shots procs, I only noticed twice on 3 stacks of arrows used (I changed jobs late in the PT, so I only EXPed on RNG for like 40mins before we called it a day) I'm gonna guess that's the set bonus double dmg on rapid shot? normal ranged attacks were doing 290-320sh with food only. Was TPing with the 3 pieces on.
Edit: inb4 "murex were casting", enhanced dmg only applies to magic attacks/spells when they are spellcasting, physical dmg doesn't gets a bonus. Also it was a normal "xxx's ranged attack strikes true" not a crit.
i've never noticed extra physical damage while casting, only magic.
Iga Mimikazari -
Kannagi + Kamome = 390 delay.
10 hits = 45tp, 4.5 TP per hit.
0 STP, 0 other DW on gear.
Not posting the math 'cause I'm feeling extra lazy today, but 5% would drop this combination to 4.475 TP per hit, which would round to 4.4. 2-3% DW both line up perfectly. Don't have the gear to test further sorry! But it's definitely not 5%.
That's the earring.
